The Chunk Zone is a movie and TV review podcast where I (Kyle Haggerty AKA BigTimeChunk) am forced to watch media from my childhood and possibly even father in the past by a mysterious rift which has materialized in my bedroom closet. I'm also joined by the occasional guest host who must travel through the rift to get to me. Join us as we see what the rift has to offer and whether anything I liked as a little smooth-brained farm boy will actually hold up.

    After a hiatus for school and Isaac being stuck in the rift, we are back and more professionally set-up than ever! The Chunk Zone is the most official podcast that you listen to and the best, hands down. Easy. This week, we talk about Zathura! By we I mean your well known a-list celebrity host Kyle Haggerty as well as returning guest, Isaac! This movie was an absolute staple in our childhoods and we had so much fun going over it! Again, I am back in college, so expect a pretty sparce and inconsistent schedule. There will be no drop in quality though! The Chunk will never disappoint.     Destroy Build Destroy

    When Cartoon Network tried to dip their toe into live-action programming in the early 2010's, we all had to suffer through it.  There was only one show that rose out of that mediocrity and it was all thanks to a lovable host, a fast pace, and competition.  Destroy Build Destroy is a stand out to me at least, maybe it was/will be for you too, who knows?  Before you ask, no, I will never watch any of the other CN Real shows for this podcast.  You can't make me watch Dude, What Would Happen!  I know my rights! Note: I recorded this new episode in what I thought was going to be a very smooth sounding closet-based blanket fort/recording booth and this was mostly effective!  I say "mostly" because the last two sections that I recorded feature an unidentified occasional bumping sound that i'm assuming was caused by some unseen bouncing of a cord somewhere in my DIY closet-shelf-as-a-mic-stand-holder setup.  The background music I put in should help cover it a bit but i'm sorry if it's distracting, I'll check for that issue next time.     Deadliest Warrior

    Hopping back on the Spike Bike, the rift has spat out Deadliest Warrior for me to watch this week.  This show is a more controlled and scientific style version of a Spike TV show.  That being said, the show may have more structure than 1000 Ways to Die but it's just as entertaining and ridiculous, an overall fun time!  It also has the benefit of a lovable group of hosts.  Do I just have nostalgia glasses on though?  Is Deadliest warrior the spectacle it once was to me or will it fall flat?  Find out on this episode of the Chunk Zone!     Alien 3000

    With superstar roommate Isaac guesting once again, we are pulling a film straight from the past shelves of our local Family Video.  This episode was a test, a test of will and of patience.  The movie we watched was not a cherished memory nor a hidden gem, it was straight up trash garbage.  That movie was Jeff Leroy's 2004 movie, Alien 3000.  Do you also think it's a trash movie that should be buried like those old ET Atari games?  Only one way to find out, listen to the episode!   I mean... you could watch the movie too, as a second way, but I wouldn't recommend it.
