Well researched, but misses the mark
This podcast, while claiming to be about the victims, does not manage or even truly try to be about the marginalized girls. Which Ann Rule‘s book did so well. The depiction of Mary Bridget Meehan, for instance, whose sad life story broke my heart in the book, is just not good enough. Mostly just rattles victim‘s names off. The podcast is more about the police work and about the killer. Also, suffers from overproduction. The narrator voice is louder than the recordings of witnesses ecc., which, besides being problematic ethically, makes listening hard. Just not thought through well enough.
