When implementing ideas, projects, or products, it's best to think big about it, but start small with something you can manage and then sell or do it NOW. Get it going on a small scale so you can hopefully reach that BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) in the future.

    In this episode, I talked about the passing of Phil Nash in 2014 from his fight with pancreatic cancer.  I talk about a story when I worked quickly to get something special to Phil before he passed.  The great UNC basketball Coach Roy WIlliams is mentioned and how Duke's Coach K almost stopped Phil from seeing his last UNC vs Duke basketball game.  GO HEELS!!! and GO ALEX MCDONALD!!!     Think, Start, Sell and DO Now - Episode 2 - My startup experience with MotionGen and Greenfire

    In this episode, I discuss my experience with a company I founded back in 2008 - MotionGen.  Unfortunately at the time, I had not heard of the concept of Think Big, Start Small and Sell or Do Now.  My co-Founder Daniel Salazar and I were coached into "Starting Big" and not "Starting Small".  Unfortunately, Jim Kitchen (http://jimkitchen.org/about-jim/) coached us too late and we should have "hit the home run" and not waited to try and "hit the grand slam".  We lost our initial client which would have been the foundation for a great company, but since we failed to lock them in, the company failed (with little investment at least). I also discuss my experience working with Greenfire Development and Greenfire International (with some great Weekend 2004 EMBA alums -  Michael Lemansky (https://www.linkedin.com/in/michaellemanski/) and Steve Mangano (https://www.linkedin.com/in/stevemangano/).  GO HEELS!!!
