The only podcast I wait impatiently every week! Keep up the excellent work and thank you for what you do!
Episode on Eugene Debs should be in school curriculum!
01/09/2022
Thank you for repeating your brilliant episode on Eugene Debs. It is so intelligently constructed and the presentation style is so clear and well-paced that I would like to see it integrated into school curricula about US history and government.
Big concepts, simple words
28/06/2021
Going to the main concepts about our society, defining capitalism and neoliberalism is exactly what we need.
Good, but too much advertising
30/06/2021
The content is good. However, the ad breaks are so frequent that it’s off-putting. For example, having the third ad break 13 minutes into the podcast equates to 3 min of ads to 10 min of content. I understand that public radio needs ad revenue, but this is excessive. The ads aren’t even relevant to me (I can’t access most of the products advertised from outside the U.S.), so it’s double annoying.
