    Episode 29: Poetry

    Reflection When I wrote this poem, I was in a hard time in my life. During this time, I felt like I was alone and couldn't express myself. Poetry was the one way I could without being judged, so that compelled me to write this poem. Prompt The prompt for this poem is: create a poem that resonates with you.

    Episode 27: Warzone

    Reflection I wrote this poem because I was doing a challenge, and I achieved my goal. In this game, I achieved 20 kills. Near the end of the game, I killed four people (which was the last squad left). Prompt Now, you can write about video games or sports. Be sure to include your skills.

    Episode 26: Dear Dad

    Reflection When writing this poem, I felt sad because I didn't know what I should do, so I just chose this one because I needed to let out all of my anger and what I went through with my dad. One challenge I faced when writing this poem was just making the poem about my dad. Prompt Now, I want you to write about how somebody betrayed you. Make sure to state the reason why they betrayed you.

    Reflection While writing this poem, I had a challenge with finding what words to use and how to start the poem. One thing I would change about this poem is to make it longer, but this poem captures how I feel about games. In fact, this activity was fun because I got to write about something I like. Prompt It is your turn to write about how something or someone makes you feel strong emotions. Your emotions could be positive or negative.

    Reflection When writing this poem, it was easy and hard at the same time. Writing about my grandma was easy since I had only good things to say about her cause of what she has done for me. Prompt This week, you can write about a loved one or an important person in your life to thank them for what they have done for you.

    Reflection When writing this poem, one challenge I faced while writing this was that I had to be expressive with it because it captures how many feelings I have for my brother. And, you might not know this, but this poem was inspired by another one of my poems called, "My Pillow." One thing I would change would be how expressive it is. Prompt I want to challenge you by letting you write your own poem about someone or something and to share it with others. And, for today, it is your turn to write a poem and share it online or with family and friends. So I want you to think about writing a poem and, if you are, decide who you are gonna write about.

    Reflection I wrote this poem--called "Ocean"--because it reminded me of when me and my family used to go on vacations to the beach. It brought me back to those times when I was little. As you can see, I spelled out the word "ocean" along the side of my poem while expressing the meaning of the word. For every letter, I wrote the definition in my opinion. Prompt Therefore, I have a challenge for you. This week, I want you to write a poem that means something to you. Maybe it's about you, your family, or your culture. There can be a lot of things that might mean something to you.
