    Toy Story 5, Backrooms, Obsession, Disclosure Day

    Send us Fan Mail This month we talkabout some big box office hits from the last few weeks in cinema. We finally manage to discuss those two big horror smashes that have had everyone flooding to the cinema for a scare; we get nostalgic with a chat about 'Toy Story 5' and it's contribution to the franchise as a whole; and Ellis tells Gwilym whether Spielberg's new Sci FI epic is worth his time! Plus we give our thoughts on 'Spider-Noir', 'House of the Dragon', 'The Legend of Vox Machina', 'Jackass: Best and Last' and 'Supergirl'. We're over half way through the year now, and so far it's been a fun time at the movies! Enjoy the episode.  'Backrooms 2' is set to see Woody and Buzz opening the attic door to find some sort of liminal space where old toys go and get forgotten.     Send us Fan Mail It's been a minute, but we're back with reviews and discussions on all the latest in the world of Hollywood. We go on an adventure with Mando & Grogu, put on our best outfits for The Devil Wears Prada 2 and get super with some superhero TV in the form of Daredevil: Born Again, Spider-Noir, Punisher and The Boys. There's reviews of Mortal Kombat II, The Christophers, Apex, Marty Life is Short, The Sheep Detectives, Finding Emily, Tuner & (somehow) more! Plus we discuss the onslaught of movie sequels coming our way very soon and speculate when that darn Avengers trailer is going to drop. Enjoy the episode!     The Drama, Michael, Lee Cronin's The Mummy, The Boys S5

    Send us Fan Mail Another month goes by and as 2026 races past us, we stop to talkabout the latest releases in film and TV. We try not to get heated in a discussion full of drama, with 'The Drama', we anticipate the ending of hit Prime show 'The Boys' and we get frustrated by the latest piece of biopic slop, 'Michael'. Plus there have been so many news stories to discuss, including a collaboration between Django (yes, that one) and Zorro (yes, that one), a return for Godzilla in a brand new trailer and a handful of other sequel stories that have us excited, apprehensive and confused.  There's already talks about 'Michael' getting a sequel, and honestly we think it could benefit from 'The Mummy' director taking it a look at it; after all, he's made a statement so far as a horror director. 'Lee Cronin's Michael'...coming to a cinema near you. Today we dive in to a discussion about 'Project Hail Mary', and pair it with some trailer chat talking about the new 'Dune' and 'Spider-Man' trailers that have recently dropped.     Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die

    Send us Fan Mail We've come back from the future to tell you that this episode is a must listen, as we talkabout the new movie: 'Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die'. We discuss the cast, the chapters, the opening diner scene, the best films starring Taskmaster contestants, the links to AI and for the first time in a long time, we fall out so much that we have to cut to elevator music. Listen now to find out what went down! I get the good luck and the don't die part in relation to this movie (and yes I understand it's a gaming reference), but where does 'Have Fun' apply. At no point in this adventure are the people in the diner going to have fun. It's a mess out there and they're the ones having to deal with it. Should be called 'Good Luck, Have a Stress, Don't Die'.     "Wuthering Heights"

    Send us Fan Mail We've taken shelter from the wily, windy moors to record an episode discussing Emerald Fennell's new film '"Wuthering Heights"'. We talkabout the loose adaptation, discussing character decisions and plot points that perhaps don't make too much sense, plus in honour of the two lead stars of the film we create a Top 5 list of Australian actors. We didn't expect to have a lot to say about this film, alas we do. Whether you agree or disagree, we hope you enjoy the episode. Is anyone out here using the word 'wuthering' in any context other than to refer to this book/film? Supposedly it dates back to the Old Norse word 'whithering' in reference to the wind on a stormy day, but surely those who live in the moors are using this word? "And in Yorkshire, it's going to be a wuthering day, so ensure you've got your big coat on."     Send us Fan Mail We're trapped on an island with nothing but a couple of podcast mics and some opinions about Sam Raimi's latest movie: 'Send Help'. This week we talkabout Sam Raimi's filmography, deciding our Top 5, we discuss the incredible performances from both Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien and we speculate how long we'd last if we were stuck on an island in the aftermath of a plane crash. As Linda and Bradley find themselves a long way from the office, how will their dynamic shift to make for optimal survival, and who (if either of them) will make it out alive? Enjoy the episode! Who are they sending help to? It's not like there's anybody else about whom you can ask the question. They can ask for help and they can look and shout and burn for help, but they can't send for help. Lucky really that they had people looking for them who somehow managed to pinpoint their coordinates and search the tiny corner of the island where one of them happened to be. 'Found Help' or 'No Help' or 'Any Help?' would perhaps be more fitting titles. Alas, they probably wouldn't sell as many tickets.
