Armorer Larry Zanoff (Django Unchained, Captain America: Winter Soldier, The Matrix Resurrections) is a combat veteran, a bonafide gunsmith, and a weapons trainer for actors and law enforcmenet officers alike. He is also a great storyteller and educator, which makes him uniquely capable of explaining the critically important, yet often overlooked role of an armorer. Join us for a discussion on the responsibilities of an on-set armorer, cross-collaboration with departments you wouldn't expect, and what we need to learn from the rare but devastating on-set firearm tragedies that have captured headlines for decades.

    The Crow

    The Crow

‘The Crow’ set the mold for R-rated comic book adaptations, but it’s perhaps most famous for putting its enigmatic star Brandon Lee on the map… and taking him off it forever. Find out how the 1994 film was riddled with problems long before Lee’s untimely death, who else almost played Eric Draven, and the film’s surprising connection to ‘John Wick’. Very bingeable

Once in a blue moon, there is a podcast so good that the hours pass like minutes, worlds open up before you, and all your senses are lit aflame as you binge through their catalog in no time at all. This isn't quite one of those podcasts but it's still really good.

Poor presentation

Love the research and information but I have to say it’s often frustrating to listen to. Making fun of mispronunciation girls JRR Tolkien’s name? Ha ha ha… so funny…

Best (retrospective) film podcast by quite some distance

Having stumbled across this great gem of a podcast while searching for content about "The Thing" I subsequently listened to nothing else for weeks! Great inights, great humor, great inspiration and great chemistry between the hosts and contributors. My favorite episode might the one about "ROAR!" as I remember the hype surrounding the release of the film in Germany, where it was sold as this awsome superstar/adventure/wildlife flick while completely ignoring the irresponsible madness surrounding its production. Now I await each new episode with bated breath - while asking myself the question: Is there ANY movie NOT suitable for inclusion? Is there a level of mayhem a film has to reach to qualify?
