The summit promotes adaptation and mitigation of negative effects on our human communities and our elder relatives. The summit empowers and educates participants to use their voices to promote climate smart forest and conservation practices. Fire experts, ecological restoration professionals, indigenous eco-cultural specialists and practitioners, and local organizations collaborate in creating the Fire & Climate Summit.
