Mets'd Up Marc Luino and James Schiano

Somehow this keeps spiraling. The Mets have totally mishandled the Edwin Díaz situation. We're inventing new ways to lose games. Francisco Lindor stared at a two strike pitch. Brett Baty and Mark Vientos are pushing each other to be better. Great starts from Christian Scott, Luis Severino, and Sean Manaea. Media Marvels making fun of ourselves, a stolen Mets meme, Buster Olney, Anthony DiComo, and a crazy story about iced coffee in Citi Field. The team is not fun but we still are.

So bad. Swept. Haven’t won a series in weeks. Tylor Megill looked good though. Mark Vientos also keeps crushing the ball. We talked about them both a good bit in between all the not so good stuff. Also, a beefy prospect report reviewing all the latest promotions and taking a look at some struggling minor leaguers.

Pain, pain everywhere. Something is wrong. We don't know what is but we try to talk through. This Edwin stuff is the worst. Even Christian Scott got hit. This stinks. Crazy week. It felt like a year. Edwin blew two saves. Francisco Lindor didn't get a hit. Christian Scott hasn't even pitched yet. Thankfully we won a game but this was a bad series and we talk about it. Oh also Steve Cohen accidentally tweeted about trading everyone at the deadline and then deleted it. Crazy. Crazy!

Almost a disaster series against the Braves totally saved by Brandon Nimmo’s walk-off home run. He’s incredible.
