As part of our series of behind the scenes podcasts about Alex and Mosheh’s pregnancy journey in 2023, we spoke with one of the midwives who cared for her. 
This episode features an interview with Christina McPherson, a certified nurse-midwife, about the midwifery care model, and the state of maternal health in the US. Americans have never had access to so many drugs, and yet we continue to see rising issues when it comes to mental and physical health in this country. We dive into what’s going wrong in this conversation with Dr. Drew Pinsky.  

Dr. Drew, who is a board-certified physician in internal and addiction medicine, became a household name while hosting the iconic radio show “Loveline.” He now has multiple platforms, shows and podcasts.

So much news coverage is devoted to the president, but it turns out that first ladies have had an incredibly influential and undercovered role in many White Houses. At the same time, it is an often thankless job that receives a lot of scrutiny.
