    The Sound of Music

    This week on Mostly Musicals, we tackle one of the most popular musicals involving Nazis and Nuns – that’s right, we are talking about The Sound of Music! Created, assumedly, just to show that Julie Andrews can run and sing at the same time, we explore different aspects of the film and stage production, such as: why is Rolf such a little butthead? What happened to the original Mrs. Von Trapp? How many Keanu facts are too many Keanu facts? (hint: there is no such thing as too many Keanu facts). Enjoy!

    Beauty and the Beast

    In today’s episode, join Kaitlin and Cassie as they explore why Ewan McGregor’s French accent should have been better in Disney’s live action version of Beauty and the Beast (wasn’t he married to a French woman for like 20 years??). Other musings include Gaston’s fascination with widows, Belle’s possible animal endangerment, and Cogsworth’s clear disdain for his human family. We also search for the answer to the question “Dan Stevens' hair, why?” Enjoy!

That's right, we're discussing the Baz Luhrmann acid flashback that is Moulin Rouge! Is it a good idea to take absinthe before a business meeting? What's the deal with the jell-o boobs? Is the Duke a proto-Voldemort? Why does Christian cry so much? Has Keanu Reeves ever been in a musical?
