    Encampments in Protest of the War in Gaza

    Several pro-Palestinian student groups at college campuses including MIT, Columbia, Emerson, and Tufts have set up encampments with tents as a form of protest of the war in Gaza. Students are calling for college officials to support a ceasefire in Gaza and put an end to institutions that support Israel.

This year, Salisbury Beach residents spent $600k out of pocket and trucked in 15,000 tons of sand for protective dunes only for half of it to be washed away in the last month. Plum Island has also been facing extreme erosion in the last couple of years, seeing some of their homes get destroyed by the ocean.
