JukePopWriterfan24 ,

Creepy, clever, addictive and so well written!

The Magnus Archives is hands down my favourite podcast. It is incredibly clever, weaving stand-alone urban legend-like stories of the supernatural into one bigger picture. The actors are great, the characters (especially the main narrator) have development, the prose is fantastic (and this is coming from someone who studied literature for their master’s). It’s creepy, it’s shipable, and it is really funny too!

RXBXL ,

Used to be good - final season rather a drag

The Magnus Archives used to rank among my favourite fiction podcasts, but the final season is, alas, devoid of much of the charm of preceding seasons. It feels as if loftier ambitions has brought a tendency towards purple prose, which - rather paradoxically - makes the whole thing feel amateurish, which it didn't before. I haven't even particularlry wanted to listen to the last couple of episodes. Five stars for seasons 1-4, two or three for season 5.

Kirstine Dieckmann ,

Excellent horror storytelling

The Magnus Archives is the perfect blend of horror and mystery, and each episode is creepy and original. It manages to take common fears and twist them into something eerily familiar yet new and terrifying. Definitely not a podcast you should listen to alone at night when your bedroom is at the end of a long hallway with no lights. Trust me. And yet it's difficult to stop listening once you've started. This podcast is fantastic and incredibly well done. You can tell they're passionate about it and interested in giving you the best content possible. So listen, be terrified, intrigued and entertained.
