For Chioma, this included Wunmi Mosaku who dazzled in her sparkling emerald green Louis Vuitton dress. The list of best dressed also included Renate Reinsve, another star in Louis Vuitton, and Gwenyth Paltrow in Armani Privé who both sported dramatic slits. Slits were just one of the fashion trends making a splash on last night's red carpet, reminding editors of Angelina Jolie’s internet-breaking dress slit at the 2012 ceremony.  Feathers were another item in vogue on the carpet and were worn by Teyana Taylor, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman, and Best Supporting Actress winner Amy Madigan. A conversation around the many jewels and rare diamonds being worn last night spawned a curiosity about the guards who work the Oscars. Perhaps a 2027 diamond guard get ready with me story is forthcoming? As for two of the biggest categories of the night—best actor and best actress—everyone was in agreement that Michael B Jordan and recent guest of the podcast Jessie Buckley, were chic and deserving winners.     In part 2, we start to understand the severity of Andrea's postpartum depression - an illness that went untreated so long that it developed into a psychosis. And even after she recovered from it the first time and she and her husband Rusty were warned that it would be worse if they had any more kids, they went ahead and had their fifth. Many questions swirl around Rusty and his insistence that they continue to reproduce. And only when Andrea's attorney is finally able to make the connection between her mental illness and her religious indoctrination is a jury able to see her crime for what it was, a perfect storm of coercion, depression, and a desperate attempt - as backwards as it sounds - to save the souls of her children.     On June 20, 2001, 36-year-old Andrea Yates did the unthinkable when she drowned her five children in the bathtub of her family home. For decades, that was all anyone knew. We called her crazy, evil, unforgivable. We couldn't imagine how it could have happened. But the backstory is horrifying and centers around the "teachings" of a radical street preacher, who psychologically tortured and tormented his followers into believing they and their children were unsavable and doomed to spend eternity in hell. Parents had until "the age of accountability" - only twelve years old - to save their kids from eternal torment and damnation. We hate this guy, fam. And as you come to understand the power he had over Andrea, you start to understand the why behind her actions. FAM!     Hunting Phil Spector (from "Homicide: Los Angeles")

    On February 3, 2003, cops were called to the home - OH EXCUSE ME, I MEANT TO SAY SUUUUUUPER TACKY CASTLE. YES CASTLE - of music producer and "legend" Phil Spector. Spector claimed that a woman had come into his home and then killed herself in his foyer. If that sounds insane, it's because it is and it is DEFINITELY not what happened.
