Bieber reportedly earned close to $10 million for the appearance, placing the set among the highest-paid in Coachella history, yet the creative execution leaned heavily into minimalism, with the defining segment centered on a prolonged onstage “YouTube time capsule” in which he played viral clips, early career footage and fragments of older songs from a laptop, creating a deliberately fragmented and referential structure that resembled an internet browsing session more than a conventional festival headlining arc. Coverage from outlets like Entertainment Weekly and Business Insider emphasized this structural choice as the defining characteristic of the show, while The Guardian noted the strength of his vocal delivery even within the restrained staging. The Call Her Daddy host took to her Instagram Stories the morning after the special premiered, reflecting on what Hannah Montana means to her, and teased what she and Miley Cyrus left on the cutting room floor. "I feel like I'm hungover, but I'm not. It's just an emotional hangover. Last night was the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary premiere," Cooper began, speaking to the camera on her Instagram Stories. "And I'm just in my feels right now I think, because I got to go with my [childhood] best friend," who was also a huge Hannah Montana fan. Cooper said that growing up, she and her friend remade Hannah's music videos and made skits about the singer. They joined the Hannah Montana fan club and went to the Meet Miley Cyrus/Best of Both Worlds Tour. “I’ve gotten to do so much in my career that I’m so grateful for, but I think this one hit different because it was so connected to my childhood." About a month ago, Zara Larsson‘s friends started sending her obscure TikTok videos that used her song with Clean Bandit, “Symphony.” The posts had random observations or dark self-loathing messages — like “I have social anxiety,” “I’m scared of people,” and “I’m pregnant and it’s yours” — written over images of dolphins flying in a Lisa Frank-esque world. The posts were quite strange, with some getting a few thousand likes. “I was like, ‘Why is this getting so much attention?’” the pop star remembers thinking. “And then boom, the whole internet started thinking it was funny.” Larsson has been making pop music since she was a teenager. In 2017, her second album So Good broke her out internationally, with hit singles ‘Lush Life’ and ‘Ain’t My Fault’ entering the UK Top 10. She kept a moderate hold on pop stardom in the following years, returning to the Top 10 with ‘Ruin My Life’ in 2018 and the Top 20 with David Guetta collab ‘On My Love’ in 2023. “I feel like people rediscover me every couple of years,” she told Line Of Best Fit in September 2025. What propelled her from occasional hitmaker to pop girl of the moment? A TikTok meme. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
