    Elihu speaks about wisdom from God. He gets a lot of things right in his discourse to Job, but some things are wrong and we should be willing to learn from what he says. Remember, that Job suffered the loss of his children in addition to his businesses, his house, his health, his friends, and even his wife. Job's "friends" were not faithful to God or to Job and in fact they turned against him and proved that they were not true friends in the end. This story is about 4 friends who went to great effort to help a friend in need. So much so, that they tore apart the roof of someone's house. You have to hear this story today!     Job suffered, and his friends attacked him for it. They revealed their character by choosing to attack Job without evidence. The Proper Christian response/take away 1. Suffering is not always the result of sin 2. Maintain your integrity before God - people will not know or speak the truth 3. Cry out to God for answers 4. Never lose faith in God 5. Wisdom, knowledge, and ultimate justice will come from God "In all this, Job sinned not".

    Jobs response to his friends was multi-faceted: 1. He rebuked their lies 2. He maintained his innocents 3. He maintained his faith in God 4. He called them out for being wicked and treating him like an enemy. Sometimes those who profess to be "people of God" or friends, are not really good people. Jesus said, "you shall know them by their fruits". Jesus called people out for being fake to. Don't allow yourself to be gaslit. Stand up for yourself. Turn to God when you are going through horrible things. Listen today for some encouragement, especially if you are going through a tough time.
