Welcome to The NDK Podcast, hosted by Nathan and Dana. Two long time friends from a small town in Canada. We get together, have some drinks and shoot the shit by sharing our unique perspectives and experiences. Each episode we will have candid conversations, story telling and lots of laughs! We will get into different topics from old stories and small town life, to current events and what we are into now. Just seeing how she goes, we may even bring on a guest or two someday. We'd love for you to tune in and be part of the adventure.

    Freiburger Files, Blue Jays and Tiger Woods with Malorie!

    Our guest this week IS Malorie!! She asked to be a guest on the pod even before the first episode dropped! NDK is SSOO EXCITED to finally debut the first instalment of ‘The Freiburger Files’! Malorie, like NDK worked together at the local grocery store!! We reminisce about the good old days! We ask the question of ‘who was the best managers on shift?’ And Malorie shares a ghostly encounter! Tracking back down memory lane, Malorie has grown up with both NDK! Playing childhood sports; soccer with Nathan and bowling with Dana. Although Malorie didn’t play baseball she is a HUGE Toronto Blue Jays Fan, reppin her ‘93 World Series Championship sweater!!! We talk a bit about the playoffs and the new season starting up. In other sports news that Tiger Woods is going off the rails again eh!? Getting all messed up and rolling SUV’s.     The guests keep coming! This week the NDK podcast welcomes ‘Rough House’ Jeff Black!!! And immediately, he wants to know what’s the etiquette on farts and has some big news to share as well. Once that’s settled, Jeff tells us a bit about himself! From his humble beginnings in Goderich, Ont. to becoming a pro wrestler. He gives us stories from starting out in the business, memorable matches. He reminisces about past matches between big names like Tommy Dreamer, Rhino, Brody Lee and Carlito!!! Not only is he a professional wrestler, Jeff and his partner Vanessa also started the wrestling school, Off the Ropes Studio. Together they have built up their wrestling school that now feature some prolific local starts… like the Falcon Brothers! Last year Off the Ropes Studio put on an amazing wrestling event for charity called SLAMDEMONIUM!!! Hosted at The Kitchener Memorial Auditorium; The Aud. With profits going to KidsAbility.     Roger, Roger!

    We’ve got another guest this week!! Give a big NDK welcome to another long time listener and Dana’s Dad, Roger!! Let’s get to know our guest! The people want to know!! Where is he from? First jobs, cars, we want it all!! As he mentioned first, and for those watching, you can see his guide cane, Roger explains he is visually impaired. He has a genetic condition called choroideremia, and explains how it all came to be. Roger tells the funny story of how he met his bride and how he almost lost her immediately by laughing at her when she asked him out. Roger talks about his love of cars and the cars he’s been lucky enough to own! Dana then talks about some other favorite childhood memories with her dad from snowmobiling, to trailer days and the classic dad game of ‘who sings this?’.     The New Club Denim With Special Guest Clinton

    We have a guest this week!! Welcome to our long time listener, brother and the other half of The Falcon Brothers, Clinton! This lone wolf starts off the show by revealing his dreams of opening a night club that’s entirely denim. The name? Club Denim! Walk with NDK as we explore the scotch guarded dreams of Club Denim. Clinton, just like us here at NDK has the affliction of garbage blowing in his face. We’ve had a ton of rain hit our little town and blew off the downspout and flooded his basement. Another brotherly bond that is sweeping the town is the new garbage rollout. It’s been a rough few weeks and Clinton is going full Frank Costanza and has got a lot of problems with this rollout! Speaking of garbage. Nathan was taking the garbage out at work when POP goes his knee-oh!!! He checks his knee and a giant V like dent om it, and the next day, it's GONE! We want to say RIP to the band Boston’s lead singer Tommy DeCarlo who passed away this week on March 9, 2026.     Favorite Classes, Busted Keys and St. Patrick's Day

    We’ve all seen them, couples who have joint social media accounts cute or cringe? Car keys, Nathan is up to some sketchy business. After snapping his key in the ignition, Nathan gets a quote for a new key from the dealership. Like you’d imagine it’s crazy expensive. Then after a quick search he clearly ‘found a guy’ who does it for cheap. We take it back to the good old school days. Which classes were our favorites and which ones we hated!!! We find out both NDK’s had to go to summer school! And speaking of hating we might have also hated the same math teacher in high school. St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner!     Birthday Party Debates, Road Trip Movies and Long Lost Treasure

    There was a lot to talk about this week. Dana got invited to the movies. When someone asks you to see Nirvana, The Band, The Show, The Movie. What do you think you’re going to see? A documentary about Nirvana, right!? NOPE! Now over to Nathan, he was at a birthday party this week that sparked some interesting topics and questions like, at what age are you a ‘kid of’ a decade? Example if you were born in ‘89 are you a kid of the 80’s? Or would you be a kid of the 90’s? NDK weighs in on the great debate! The next question sparked by this birthday, on the ride to the party the SUV they were in had a DVD player but no DVD. What’s that about?? You’ve got a DVD player but no DVD!? It begs the question if your vehicle had a DVD player in it… what DVD’s would you have in the car? Nathan was invited to be a guest on The IWP - Independent Wrestling Profiles Podcast!     Let's Talk About Last Night

    Let's talk about last night. NDK has some stories to share!!! First off Dana gets a little too lifted if ya know what I mean. Then BANG on the door and the neighbour is there asking if she smells smoke!?!? Obviously panic ensues. Leading to the fire department coming to check on all of the neighbours. Of course the cute one has to check hers out, right after letting one rip!! Nathan and Janine head out for an adventure to see Nine Inch Nails in concert. Going down was fine, coming home was a whole different story. Now, Janine being the good wife she is offers to drive home. While Nine Inch Nails brought down the house, Mother Nature brought the ice. Seems to me like they were in a similar situation one year ago! We are in the middle of the Olympics (at the time of recording) we were 11th in medal standing. Canada is not doing so hot. What it IS getting hot is the curling rink. Sweden’s Oskar Eriksson accuses Canada’s Marc Kennedy of cheating. We were talking games earlier and Nathan was thinking of two of his favorite games, Scene It and Trivial Pursuit w DVD. Obviously Nathan kills the movie and music section.
