Ebrahim Benting

Ebrahim Benting is a respected Islamic teacher and educator based in Cape Town, South Africa. He serves as Head of Islamic Sciences at Darul Arqam Islamic High School and is affiliated with the Al‑Furqan Institute’s Cape Town campus. He memorised the Qur’an (Hifdh) under the guidance of renowned reciter Imam Abduragmaan Salie. He then completed an Aalim study program at Qaasimul Uloom, further deepening his knowledge. Additionally, Ebrahim earned a BA (Hons) in Religion and Theology from the University of Western Cape, demonstrating dedication to both traditional and academic learning. Ebrahim Benting is also active in public lectures and Islamic events. He has participated in community programs such as “A Day with Our Beloved (SAW)” alongside other scholars, contributing to spiritual reflection and Islamic discourse in Cape Town.
