Summer School 1987! Watch along with Jenn

Join us as we go back to the 80s for the 1987 comedy classic Summer School! What better way to end summer and kick off the school year than this movie we loved. Lazy high school gym teacher Freddy Shoop (Mark Harmon) must cancel a dream Hawaiian vacation to teach a remedial English class of misfit students. Blackmailed by a strict vice-principal, Shoop uses unconventional teaching methods and bribery to connect with the kids. See the original podcast duo before there were podcasts Chainsaw and Dave. A pre look who's talking Kirstie Alley. Made by the great Carl Reiner of The Jerk fame but to me he played Saul in the Oceans movies. We even get Kalabar in this! So much fun give us a listen!

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! summerween special

We're back with another one of Jenns favorites we cover 1988's Beetlejuice in watchalong style. We revisit one of our favorite directors in Tim Burton. We did peewee last week and our nback with his 2nd film After Barbara and Adam Maitland die in a car accident, they find themselves stuck haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house. When the unbearable Deetzes and teen daughter Lydia buy the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success. Their efforts attract Beetlejuice, a rambunctious spirit whose help quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and innocent Lydia.

PeeWee's Big Adventure

Even before i brought Jenn in on the show i knew i needed to get her in on this movie. Of course i loved PeeWee growing up a child of the 80s but Jenn takes that love to anothere level. She can truly quote this line for line. The eccentric and childish Pee-wee Herman embarks on a big adventure when his beloved bicycle is stolen. Armed with information from a fortune-teller and a relentless obsession with his prized possession, Pee-wee encounters a host of odd characters and bizarre situations as he treks across the country to recover his bike. We talk peewees playhouse, the love for San Antonio, and the portrayal of Texans in Hollywood. One of our favorites of all time comes a Now Watch This classic.

Jenn's 2nd episode! Toy Story 5 and Supergirl spoilers

Well she's back for more we get Jenn back for another episode and as predicted she's well loved. We had a couple of movie dates this week so we had to come talk to the watchers about them. We get into the newest Toy Story movie and who would have thought 31 years later we are still getting a great movie from dreamworks. Led now by Jessie it really told a great story of old toys vs modern tech. Woody, Buzz and the whole gang returned and managed to once again drive this old man to tears. Next we saw the latest DCU movie Supergirl starring Milly Alcock. This movie has received tons of hate but my daughter and i loved it .....Jenn not so much lol hear why jen napped through some. Another fun episode with the wife i hope you guys like it as much as we did.

My best friend the debut of Jenn

well it finally happened! Jenn and I had a quickie on Now Watch This! i have been listening to podcasts for years and my favorites have always been the podcasts where the hosts are good friends. While i love having my buddies on, since Luck has been gone i've missed the consistency of recording with the same partner every episode. i've got plenty of candidates to cover but when i thought about what i wanted on my show i started thinking of my favotite pods, Jafn, YMH, 2 bears, Bad friends, MSSP, and my OG fave smodcast they are all pods with their best friend on. So i turned to my true life long best friend my wife Jen. Noone gets me like her, makes me laugh like her, calms me like her and stresses me like her, so i know she'll be great on here. I hope you guys like our 1st couple cast

Claude joins Joe for a much needed drunk cast. what a noght talking everything from fathers day to baseball. Joe goes into whats in store for now watch this's exciting future! Nothing like a few drinks after a long ass week and we just happen to record ourselves through it. My Canadian brother brings it talking baseball playing, umping, coaching. i even get Cj to drop his top 5 baseball movies on the watchers. give us a listen guys then after go visit Cj Belanger on the Rosesuchakladder podcast.
