Wesley Lebron

Imam Wesley Lebron, also known as AbdurRazzaq Abu Sumayyah, is a prominent Puerto Rican-American Islamic scholar, educator, and community leader. Born and raised in New Jersey, he embraced Islam in 1998 and has since dedicated his life to Islamic education, dawah, and supporting new Muslims. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies from Mishkah Islamic University of North America. Imam Lebron currently serves as the Imam and Director of Programs and Education for MAS NY Reverts Reconnect, where he focuses on providing educational resources and support for reverts to Islam. Additionally, he is the Co-Founder and President of the 3 Puerto Rican Imams project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers humanitarian services across the United States, the Caribbean, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Palestine. With over a decade of experience in Islamic education, Imam Lebron has taught at institutions such as Miftahul Uloom Academy. He is also an instructor at the Muslim Mindset Academy, where he leads courses on personal development, Islamic studies, and community leadership. Imam Lebron is recognized for his engaging teaching style and commitment to making Islamic knowledge accessible to diverse audiences. His work continues to inspire and empower Muslims across various communities.
