After numerous trickery and lies in which the cat projects its master as some nobleman "Marquis of Carabas" to a wealthy king, the cat succeeds in keeping its promise and makes his master a prince and gets him married to the king's daughter. She was asked not to look up the chimney by the woman. But even after all the work girl did, the old women didn't pay her and the girl continued to work in the hope that one day she will be paid. One day, the girl looked up the chimney and found a bag full of gold. She left back for her home and the apple tree, the cow and the oven helped her escape from the hand of the old woman.
