万博リング、復興住宅に活用へ　石川・珠洲市に無償譲渡

大阪・関西万博の「大屋根リング」、大阪市此花区大阪・関西万博の会場のシンボル「大屋根リング」の閉幕後の利用を巡り、昨年の能登半島地震と豪雨で大きな被害を受けた石川県珠洲市が復興公営住宅の資材として活用することが２日、分かった。 Timber used in the Grand Ring, a symbol of the World Exposition in the western Japan city of Osaka, will be reused for public housing for recovery from last year's strong earthquake and heavy rain in the central prefecture of Ishikawa, people familiar with the matter said Thursday.
