    Bionic Buzz® Episode Twenty Two: Chick Fight in the Immortal Era

    In this episode of we got some fun stories and some great celebrity interviews. First off is our interview with two time wrestling HOF and actor Kevin Nash (Magic Mike XXL, Rock of Ages) about his new movie CHICK FIGHT. Synopsis: When Anna Wyncomb is introduced to an underground, all-female fight club in order to turn the mess of her life around, she discovers she is much more personally connected to the history of the club than she could ever imagine. Starring: Malin Akerman, Bella Thorne, Alec Baldwin, Kevin Connolly, Dulcé Sloan, Dominique Jackson and more. Out now in theaters, digitally and on-demand. Then is our interview with Edward Davis from Finish Line Comics. He is the writer of the post apocalyptic comic book series called Immortal Era. The book tells the story of a Dystopian future where there have been no deaths for over 200 years. The population is divided into two living zones: the Megalopolis where only a chosen few are allowed to live, and the brutal underground where there are terrors lurking around every corner. Now he is doing a kickstarter for issues 2 & 3 of the series.   We end with a throwback interview from San Diego Comic-Con 2019. At the world famous con we got to interview Women of Wrestling Superhero The Beast. WOW - Women Of Wrestling, aka WOW!, is a women's professional wrestling promotion founded in 2000 by David McLane, previously the founder of Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. It is based in Los Angeles, California, and is owned by McLane and Los Angeles Lakers owner and president Jeanie Buss. WOW! airs on AXS.TV.

    Bionic Buzz® Episode Twenty One: Cobra Kai

    This episode is all about the series COBRA KAI! First up is our interview Zach Robinson & Leo Birenberg composers of the hit series Cobra Kai. We first talked about them performing the music of Cobra Kai live at the Whisky A Go-Go in West Hollywood back in June of 2019 and how they got “Johnny Lawrence” himself William Zabka to join them on stage to perform acoustic guitar for his characters theme song. Also they were joined by special guest Joe Esposito (sang the pokemon theme song) who performed ‘You’re The Best’ from the original The Karate Kid movie. We talked about how their performance influenced their music for Cobra Kai Season 3. How they feel about the new Netflix fans of Cobra Kai and the music they scored for Cobra Kai The Karate Kid Saga Continues Video Game. Then it is our throwback interviews with cast of Cobra Kai. First up is our interview with the cast at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, CA that took place on April 2019. Interviews with Ralph Macchio, “Daniel LaRusso” Mary Mouser, “Samantha LaRusso” Gianni Decenzo, “Demetri” Tanner Buchanan, “Robby Keene” Courtney Henggeler, “Amanda LaRusso” Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson "Composers,"  Hannah Kepple "Moon" AND Jacob Bertrand, “Eli.” Then our interview with actors Xolo Maridueña & Tanner Buchanan from the red carpet of Entertainment Weekly Annual Comic-Con Bash At FLOAT At The Hard Rock Hotel. Interview took place back in July of 2019. Then our last interview with Xolo Mariduena again on the red carpet of the My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising LA Premiere in Westwood, CA. This interview took place in February 2020.

    Bionic Buzz® Episode Twenty: Music A thru Z. All American Rejects to Zebrahead

    This episode is all about music. First up is our interview with music producer & record executive Loren Israel. He has either worked or sign bands such as Jimmy Eat World, Neon Trees, Plan White T's, The Unlikely Candidates and many others. Then our interview with Ali Tabatabaee lead singer of Zebrahead about his new band FEAR NO EMPIRE. By tapping into their punk rock and hip-hop roots, Fear No Empire voice their anger and frustration with the world around them and stand up against racism, oppression, police brutality, voter suppression, anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination and violence, and all forms of social injustice. Their EP is out now! Then we end our episode ends with a fun throwback interview with record producer Howard Benson from NAMM 2019.     This episode is all about The George Lopez Foundation. First up is our interview with Linda D. Small. She is the Director/CFO/Secretary/Executive Director of The George Lopez Foundation. The mission of the George Lopez Foundation is to create positive, permanent change for underprivileged children, adults and military families confronting challenges in education and health, as well as increasing community awareness about kidney disease and organ donation. Learn about her background and her funny story of how she ended up working for the George Lopez Foundation. In the interview we got to learn about their trick shot challenge that you can help be apart of. Natera, a global leader in cell-free DNA testing, today announced that it has teamed up with the George Lopez Foundation to create the #GLFTrickShot Challenge, a social media fundraising campaign for kidney patients in need that also aims to raise awareness around the prevalence and risks of kidney disease. The challenge involves getting a ball into a receptacle, golf style, and videos will be linked to the campaign page GLFTrickShotNatera.com, where donations can also be made. All proceeds will go toward living essentials, including food and medications, for kidney patients. Then we talk to actress Patrika Darbo from Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Bay & more. She takes part of the annual George Lopez' celebrity golf classic and talks about her trick shot.

    Bionic Buzz® Episode Eighteen: Screaming Metal from Apartment 1BR

    In this episode of we got some fun Hollywood stories and some great celebrity interviews. First off is our interview David Ellefson, the bassist for the legendary metal band Megadeth. We talked about where his passion for music came from, memories of meeting Eddie Van Halen, how Van Halen's "Light Up the Sky" inspired David's bass line in "Symphony of Destruction," his solo band ELLEFSON and their upcoming NO COVER double album of covers. Then is our interview with actress, producer & writer Celeste Sully. We talked about where her passion for acting came from, her new movie 1BR, how 1BR was the number one movie on Netflix and more. The movie is about a group of crazies tries its hand at social engineering in 1BR, a claustrophobic thriller set in a Los Angeles apartment complex. Celeste Sully, in the role of Lisa, is the loyal friend who is the voice of reason to Sarah, played by Nicole Brydon Bloom. 1BR also stars actress Naomi Grossman. So for our throwback interview, we go back to the 4th annual World Dog Day Presented by PetPlan Pet Insurance & the Vanderpump Dog Foundation with our red carpet interview with actress Naomi Grossman. The event took place at the West Hollywood Park in West Hollywood, California back in May 2019. The event focused on the Foundation’s mission of raising awareness about the heinous acts that occur each year during the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in Yulin, China & promoted pet adoptions.

    This episode features interviews from an actually red carpet. YES! Bionic Buzz® hasn't covered a red carpet since last March. We got to cover the world premiere of the action-packed feature film BECKMAN. This was outdoor event that was held at Universal Hilton Hotel and followed all CDC and Los Angeles County COVID-19 safety guidelines and protocols. Host Virag Vida interviews the cast of the movie: Jeff Fahey “Philip,” David A.R. White “Aaron Beckman,” former WWE Diva (Summer Rae) actress Danielle Moinet “Isabel,” actor Vincent De Paul “Kirk,” actress Madison Mae “Wendy,” actress Raelynn Harper “Vanessa,” actress Kelly Heyer “Samara” and actress Brighton Sharbino “Tabitha.” ABOUT THE FILM: Aaron Beckman is finished – done with a life lived in the shadows as a cruel gun for hire. Now, his soul cries out for healing, peace, forgiveness, and grace. His journey is cut short when his adopted daughter is kidnapped by a deranged cult leader.     Bionic Buzz® Episode Sixteen: OH MY

    In this episode of we got some fun Hollywood stories and some great celebrity interviews. First off is our interview with the eclectic indie pop band Don't Believe In Ghosts. We talked about their latest single “Still Holding On,” their zoom release party for the single, their upcoming music video for the single and more. Second is our interview with Eileen Shapiro. She is an author & celebrity PR & partner at World Star PR. She is an ICONIC journalist who is world-renowned in the realms of music, television and film. We talked about her latest book "Waiting For Adam," where she gives readers an uncensored view of life as one of the most prominent celebrity journalists in the world on her international quest to meet and interview her biggest obsession, Adam Ant. On her “Waiting for Adam” journey, Eileen crossed paths with iconic legends including Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick, Cyndi Lauper, Mary Wilson, Annie Lennox and Brook Shields to name a small few. We then end with a throwback interview with actor George Takei from Star Trek & Heroes. The interview took place at Rabbi David Baron’s Kol Nidre Service on the eve if Yom Kippur at the Beverly Hills Temple of the Arts at the Saban Theatre. Which is the largest arts and entertainment synagogue in the United States.
