Lewis Black has some things to get off his chest! With his weekly podcast "Lewis Black’s Rantcast," the Grammy-winning comedian does just that. Channeling his anger in ways only a man who’s devoted his entire life to ranting can do. The tirades are sometimes big, other times small, yet they are always fun-spirited and truly hilarious. No topic is safe from Black’s trademark style of comedic yelling and animated finger-pointing. Skewering anything and anyone that gets under his skin. On the "Rantcast," Black isn’t the only person getting things off his chest, each week Lewis allows fans to submit their gripes so he can commiserate in their frustrations. Black’s long career includes movie roles in Accepted, the voice of Anger in the Pixar’s "Inside Out," and is currently the longest-running correspondent on Comedy Central’s "The Daily Show."

Nashville Calling

Eclipsed by the Eclipse
It was a week of happenings, not just for Lewis but for the nation as we experienced not only the Solar Eclipse, but a large earthquake for a swath of people in the East. Lewis found himself in Arizona for a charity golf outing, still managing to see the eclipse. Was it the advertised 75% darkness it was advertised as? Maybe not. Unfortunately, the usual crazies bubble up with conspiracy theories around these natural phenomenon (of course). Other newsworthy events include the dreaded annual Tax Day and the death of OJ Simpson opens re-ignites old wars in what might’ve been the inflection point of a new way the media operates.
The rants are live this week as Lewis works through some live dates in the Northeast. Speaking of tour dates, fall dates of The Goodbye Yeller Brick Road have been announced and by the time you read this, they will be on sale through the F.U.C.K.U fan club with public on sale occurring Friday, April 19th .

Escape To The National Comedy Center
The madness of the year has already gotten to us, and if it’s going to continue through the already-declared politics-free summer, perhaps its time to get out of dodge and head on up to the National Comedy Center in Jamestown, NY?
What nonsense is happening this week? First off, can anyone fluent in finance explain how Truth Social makes money? While we’re at it, can someone also tackle inflation? While on the topic of explaining things, a Michigan rep could use some help identifying a college basketball team. An MLB player could use some help determining if Wyoming is real, and Tennessee needs to figure out what exactly is the deal with Chemtrails. As always, Lewis is here to help navigate the madness.

Busted Bridge, Busted Brackets
Being born and raised in the greater Baltimore area, the news on the Francis Scott Key bridge collapse elicits Lewis laments on how it should be repaired. It also appears the level of satire have reached an all-time high between Donald Trump deciding to become a bible salesman and Alabama doing away with diversity programs in its universities. But it doesn’t end there as the Supreme Court is currently hearing arguments over mifepristone and it just reminds Lewis that being a lawyer can sometimes make your head spin. To top it all off, A.I. is manifesting itself in unlikely ways. It’s a wild week of headlines, luckily for us all Lewis Black is here to guide us through it all like a beacon of light.

March Madness
How's your bracket doing? The NCAA College Basketball tournament is Lewis' favorite sporting event of the year. It also serves as a good distraction from the lunacy of the day. A Spring that doesn't seem to have sprung yet. An election cycle that goes on and on. A former President's many, many days in court. Boeing's continued lack of quality control, and perhaps most traumatizing... the discontinuation of dollar hot dog night in Philly.

Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?
Does anybody really care?
Well, we turned the clocks forward an hour and with it comes the annual debate about whether Daylight Savings time is a good idea or not. With both sides of the argument pulling their annual selective amnesia about the event. March also marks the start of The NCAA College Basketball Tournament which brings both great joy and a great distraction to Lewis. From what? Well, take your pick – could be GOP’s wild response to the State of the Union, Missouri finally realizing it’s 2024, the ongoing Middle East conflict or even silly things like one a man’s obsession with Big Macs. It’s a veritable smorgasbord of stories one wants to avoid.
RANT #1 - Justin is a teacher and he has an issue with phone in class policies.
RANT #2 - Michael Cohen is surprised when A-1 steak sauce was founded.
RANT #3 - John LeShock is pissed people cannot pronounce words correctly.
