    Jazzer gets impatient in the shop while Jim and Johnny discuss car maintenance. Jade is outside and he doesn’t want to keep her waiting. Jazzer thought they could accompany Jim home so he can meet Jade. Back at Greenacres, Jade does her ‘firing pasta out of her nose’ party trick. She continually calls Jim ‘Jimmy’ and ‘Jimbo’ despite being corrected. When Jade is ready to head off on another night out Jim shows concern for Jazzer looking tired. Jazzer tries to suggest a night in to Jade but there’s no way she’s staying in. Later, Johnny collects a pump for his car from Jim and they express their reservations about Jade.
    Kirsty visits Philip in prison. He insists he’s the same person that Kirsty fell in love with. She cuts him off by asking about Victoria. Philip’s shocked at Kirsty’s knowledge. She tells him she’s visited Gavin. Philip thinks Gavin has had a breakdown and can’t be relied upon for information. Kirsty implores Philip to cooperate with the police and plead guilty. Philip begs Kirsty to give him another chance; he still loves her and he hasn’t done anything wrong. Kirsty takes off her wedding ring as she leaves. It’s going in the first bin she finds; their marriage was already over when she got there.

    Ruth and David return to their discussion about no longer farming sheep at Brookfield. Ruth is worried about the negative impact Brexit will have on sheep prices. David worries that Ruth and Pip will squeeze him out of decision making. Ruth reassures him that’s not the case.
    David is offered a part in The Mystery Plays which he thinks he should take to placate Lynda about refusing her use of their barn. Later Ruth is also offered a part, which panics her. She decides to agree to Lynda using the Brookfield Barn as long as she can turn down the role.
    While Alice and Chris are babysitting Xander for the day, Chris gets a message from Harrison. Chris is reluctant to leave but Alice pushes him to go to meet Harrison for a chat. Harrison reveals he’s been asked to play Jesus in The Mystery Plays. Chris encourages him to accept the role. Harrison probes Chris about Alice since her spell in detox. Chris is sure Alice has beaten her addiction but Harrison warns that Alice might not be fixed entirely. This makes Chris lash out and Harrison backs off.
    On his return, Alice tells Chris she knows he’s talked to Harrison about her detox. Chris is full of apology and Alice is understanding, much to his relief. She’s so grateful for Chris’s support and she thanks him for not giving up on her.

    Ben tells Ruairi about the disagreements at Brookfield over the farm’s future direction. Ben doesn’t want to lose the sheep. Ruairi’s got his first Home Farm partnership meeting next week and Ben’s given him an idea of something to say. Meanwhile, they visit the old caravan that they held an anti-Valentine’s party in a few years ago. Ben explains he and Evie are struggling to find somewhere private to be together so he wants to do up the caravan. Ruairi thinks it’s a lost cause but Ben persuades him it could be useful once properly done up.
    Kirsty won’t give anything away about The Mystery Plays to Helen. Lynda’s keeping her busy which is helping take her mind off the fate of the lads that Philip sold. Kirsty reveals she has a visiting order for Philip and wonders about going to see him in prison. Helen doesn’t think it’s wise.
    Helen jokes with Lee that Henry has him down as a soft touch but Lee doesn’t find it funny. He’s still cut up about momentarily losing Henry last week. Later Helen tells him she’s realised how comfortable she is with having Lee in her life and she asks him if he’ll make a new home with her and her boys. He’s over the moon.

    Jazzer watches Johnny continue work on his new car and then asks him for payment in advance for his next batch of home brew – Jazzer needs cash to pay for a weekend away with Jade. Jazzer insists his fling with Tracy is well and truly over. Johnny advises him not to mess it up with Jade this time around. Jazzer sees himself and Jade as kindred spirits whereas things would never have worked out with Tracy – he’s had a lucky escape.
    While lambing, Ruth and David discuss their differing views for the future of Brookfield. David is outraged at Ruth’s suggestion that they give up their sheep flock. He feels like Ruth and Pip are excluding him. As their discussion gets more heated, Kirsty interrupts. She’s there on Lynda’s behalf about The Mystery Plays. She’d like part of the performance to take place in the Brookfield Barn. David is inclined to consider it but Ruth is dead against it.

    Lee offers to take Henry to the playground obstacle course event on his own so that Helen can get her work finished. At the playground, Emma asks Lee if he and Henry will be entering the final challenge. But when Lee looks for Henry he can’t find him and quickly panics. Emma tries to keep Lee calm and after a while Henry returns with George and some friends.
    Helen tries to reassure Lee about not being able to find Henry earlier. Once Henry had returned Lee had bought him an ice-cream – a novel approach to discipline laughs Helen. But Lee remains serious. He wants to have a proper talk about how each of them interacts with the other’s children.
    Kirsty visits Gavin in prison. She stops him when he starts to talk about not wanting her to get hurt. She just wants information on what happened to the lads. Gavin assures her he’s told the police everything he knows. He describes their meeting with Victoria and reveals that after he left Beechwood he slept rough over Christmas. He wants Kirsty to know that it’s changed him. He understands the desperation of people like Blake, Jordan and Kenzie. Kirsty appreciates his honesty and offers to visit him again. Gavin plans to keep his head down and be a better man by the time he’s released. Kirsty believes him, which means the world to him.

    Helen apologises to Kirsty for calling her an idiot in her search for Philip’s men. She also reports that Tony’s 70th birthday tea went well; Tony seemed very touched by it all. Kirsty reveals she’s going to visit Gavin in prison. She admits she’s not emotionally ready to do so but she must do what she can to track down Blake, Kenzie and Jordan.
    Mia and Clarrie discuss her and Eddie’s plan to renew their vows. Mia urges Clarrie to be sure their confetti is environmentally-friendly. Mia agrees to be a bridesmaid as long as she doesn’t have to wear a big dress. Clarrie flippantly refers to Mia’s interest in saving the planet and Mia is quick to say that it isn’t a phase she’s going through.
    Clarrie reports to Eddie that Mia is now vegan. This doesn’t compute with Eddie: rearing animals is in the Grundy blood. Later, Mia and Eddie discuss their different outlooks. Mia apologises for being rude about Eddie’s lunchtime ham sandwiches. Eddie insists they’re actually on the same side and he gently challenges the information Mia uses for her argument.
    Lynda catches up with Kirsty who ends up helping out with building the obstacle courses for tomorrow’s anti-slavery charity fundraiser. Despite Kirsty’s continued refusal, Lynda says she won’t give up with her gentle persuasion to recruit Kirsty to her Mystery Plays production. Even when Lynda changes tack and expresses her passion for the magical project, it’s still a no from Kirsty.
