    16: Making it WORK OUT

    In this episode Kioa talks about how we can start/continue working out and how to make it enjoyable if its not our cup of tea: - I HATE going to the gym - Figuring out your "why" for working out - Go at your own speed while still challenging yourself - Do activities that you enjoy like sports, hikes, walks, etc. Challenge: If you already work out then keep it up and enjoy it.  If you don't then make a plan to this week with something small like shooting hoops with your kids or going for a walk and ACTUALLY DO IT!!!

    In this episode Kioa talks about the becoming a BETTER dad than our own.  We talk about: - Thoughts about your own father or father like figure - Asked some ?s to different women about what they like about their husbands or what they would like to see in their future husbands - What Kioa liked and disliked about his own dad - Chasing the dream of becoming the best dad to your own kids Challenge: For the Men (To use a trait or two that you liked about your father with your own kids) For the Women (Share what you liked and disliked about your father with your husband or future husband)

    In this episode Kioa discusses the importance of reading to you kids.  He talks about: - Creating good habits - Reading in this world full of technology - Time spent with your kids without screens - Bonding opportunities - Creativity & Imagination - Help them grow to enjoy literacy and to help them grow for the future Challenge: If you read to your kids, keep it up.  If you don't then trying reading to them every night for 5 mins.

    13: Time Management HACKS

    In this episode Kioa dives into a list of Dad Time Management Hacks that he found on a post.  He discusses the different points made with his own personal notes.  Here is the list: 1) Wake Up Before Your Kids (especially on weekends) 2) Plan Ahead (workouts, daily tasks, routines, etc) 3) Prioritize (eliminate unproductive time sucks like watching sport games, video games, etc) 4) Turn off Electronics (find a two hour window where screen time is not allowed for the family) 5) Pencil in down time for Yourself (self care time) 6) Make time for your Kids (work pays the bills, but it doesn't make up for lost time) Challenge for you this week is to work on 2 of these items from the list.
