    The episode where Boydston brings us a fascinating story about the mass panic that ensued after the 1938 War of the Worlds radio broadcast. Picture it: 1938, New Jersey. No phones, no Internet, you tune in for a relaxing night of listening to the radio, when all of a sudden the broadcast tells you aliens are invading the world. Cue panic. How would you know something is true without being able to fact check it with the Internet? This story is fascinating as we examine it 90 years later in the age of AI and social media, and the parallels are uncomfy to consider.     328: The Commercial Hotel

    The episode where we share our recent investigation of the Historic Commercial Hotel in Osceola, MO. If you live in Missouri, you know exactly where this small town is because of the famous cheese store. Welcome to the Midwest. This hotel has history dating back to the Civil War when Kansas and Missouri had some beef with each other. But it’s okay, they can be friends now, trust us.  Anyway, although we did not get to investigate at this hotel, we did get to stay the night and have some fun with Rasputin dances, card games, and of course, shenanigans. You remember this place as the one that reignited our love of ghost hunting, so you know we had to return. Can confirm: the vibes were still there.     323: Adams and the Murder Squad

    The episode where Lindsey brings us a true crime of an infamous case that changed the way physicians practice medicine. This is John Bodkin Adams, a British physician who was accused of murdering his patients, in what was at that time called the murder trial of the century. Was it gross incompetence or serial mercy killer? It is still argued over, but the facts are that this case changed protections around physicians. But there’s lots of inappropriate boundaries, eating cake in surgery, and some all around weirdness.
