Kun poliisi näpyttelee kortin omistajan tiedot järjestelmään, on vastassa melkoinen yllätys: kyseinen nainen oli ilmoitettu kadonneeksi yli vuosi sitten ja sattumalta hänen jäänteensä oli löydetty syrjäisestä metsästä vain kolme päivää aiemmin. Tutkinta vie poliisin äärimmäisen synkkään ja väkivaltaiseen fetissien maailmaan, jossa kontrollin menettäminen voi hyvinkin johtaa kuolemaan.
