Entertaining but flawed
It’s a great concept that you get small amounts of history somehow linked to the day you are listening it.
However the series is too US centric, not just the topics chosen. But many times something that could be told without mentioning of US such as something about Iran revolution have to be linked to US so the series can be from that perspective.
It’s also rather difficult to tell do the hosts have any sources about what the people are mentioned are thinking and feeling, and it’s constantly that the narrative is built by those thoughts and feelings. The result is too much of a pop history feel or series meant for children.
Also this is more personal but I rather would have the episodes be shorter and more focus on one day, usually the narratives span years telling context, which isn’t bad to tell, but it could be possible to pick events that are more about a certain day and have shorter context sections. And of the episodes were more like 15 minutes they would be easier to actually lisen to every day.
