    Party For A Cause

    Echo International Aid is set to host a Pop up bar at the Old Melbourne Gaol on Friday the 22nd of July to raise funds for Echo’s 2016 annual appeal. The innovative social enterprise event which is to be held in one of Melbourne’s most historic and notorious landmarks will be opened after dark where attendees will be able to party for a cause with all funds raised on the night going towards meaningful international aid projects. 100% of ticket and bar proceeds from the night will go directly to projects in Burma. Event entertainment will include music from Matt Doll famous for being part of the Aussie group The Mavis’s In this podcast, Gazman speaks to one of the founders of Echo International and event organiser Ryan Stevens.     New CEO for Midsumma

    Midsumma Festival have announced the appointment of Karen Bryant as CEO of the organisation. Chris and Cam of the C&C Drive Factory speak to Karen about the year ahead and what the community can expect under her leadership.     Nicola Charles (Neighbours)

    From 1996 – 1999, Nicola Charles played popular Neighbours character Sarah Beaumont on the show, her return in 2013 turned fans into a lather and this year she returned to the show once again, this time with her son Angus in tow (played by Jai Waetford. Nicola joins Leo for the last day of JOY Radiothon, she reflects on her career on Neighbours, working with Jai Waetford and returning this year with some challenging storylines. Nicola also reflects on her personal life – the mother of three recently celebrated her fourth year wedding anniversary with DJ Mark Tabberner and the recent passing of her biological father just last year. Nicola also talks about reality television, her desire to appear on Dancing With The Stars and reveals the producers of UK Celebrity Big Brother have recently made contact to appear on the show.
