Gives me hope
This podcast gives me hope. I can relax listening to the creative and imaginary content, and feel good about both the quality of entertainment, and the character of the people creating it. The way they accept everyone, are open minded, loving and supporting, is just a balm for my brain. Plus I like the way they tease each other lovingly. The stories become really good every time there is a new adventure, and I am very invested in them emotionally. Much love to all listeners and to the McElroys.
Simply put: Universe is a better place with the Adventure Zone in it
This podcast is a pure treasure. It starts as a D’n’D quest and grows into something so much more. Superb storytelling with funny full fledged characters you will just love.
Adventure Zone changes emotio-meter scales from out loud laughter to excitement and action (with full on blockbuster-hero moments), and then to teary eyed wonder with small emotional moments. Starting from Crystal Kingdom everything is lifted to another level by adding an atmospheric original soundtrack to an already great thing. There are hardly enough adjectives to braise this podcast.
If you need a good dose of hope and lightness to your heart, start listening.
Helped me get through the death of a loved one :,)
I've listened to all the episodes of the first season twice now, and I have to say, I haven't felt this strongly for quite some time about a piece of fiction. I laughed myself to tears, it was so sad I was brought to tears, and through the last episodes I was heartwarmed to tears! It was also so profound at times that this seriously helped me at my lowest. I have a mantra now, for when things have a tragic and unexpected ending, all thanks to this show, and I am grateful.
Every new episode is like a biweekly Christmas, and listening to this family create something together feels like home.
Ten gold stars, 11/5, I'll surely come back to this for a third, sixth, so many times over the years!
