Two and a Half Leagues Under the Sea

    Rebecca,
First day aboard. Made nice with the captain and friends with the Marine Biologist. Might have problems with the Doctor. I’ve been thinking a lot about Verne. You should pull out your copy–I know you have one.

    Rebecca,
There was a birthday on the station! Still on the rocks with the doc. Can you teach me to bake?

    Rebecca,
I don't think Nietzche was intending to be literal about the abyss looking back at us, but hey, what did he know. At least our resident biologist is happy.

    Rebecca,
Things are starting to get exciting, for varying definitions of excitement. Living down here...hasn't been what I expected and I didn't even know what I was expecting. Miss you.

    Two Years Before the Hatch

    Rebecca,
Everything is totally fine down here. I am definitely getting used to life at the bottom of the sea. Completely unrelated: I filed a will before coming down here, right?

A generous 3/5

The voiceacting is fine, the characters are fine, the premise? Mmm.

I have a logical problem with this podcast. WHO in their right mind would risk a multi million dollar, hi-tech, UNDERWATER station by letting a random dude who has a reasearch project to conduct just waltz in.

Like on submarines the toilets alone require specific training to operate. If you want to take part in any special station, be it a submarine, a military outpost, a research centre at the south pole, a survey ship at sea, you NEEED special training to even step foot on most of those. So the idea alone that our protagonist was just kicked into this situation is ridiculous.

Where oxygen is limited, anyone without a purpose needs to be cut out, and our main charcter is a waste of valuable oxygen for our other characters.
