ABOUT THE MOVIE Nimrods follows three young musicians — Tommy, Fred, and Chad — who believe they've been given the opportunity of a lifetime: their band has supposedly been invited to open for Green Day on New Year's Eve in Los Angeles! There's just one problem...It's all a prank. But Tommy doesn't know that. Determined to make his band's big break happen, Tommy takes off with his friends on a cross-country trip from Kansas City to Los Angeles, racing against the clock to make it to the show. What follows is a wild road trip filled with music, mayhem, crazy adventures, and plenty of trouble along the way.
