Everything that you need to start your trading day. good morning, everybody. Happy Monday. Welcome to pre-market preps, Spencer Israel, Joel Kahn, and Dennis Dick is here. He'll be with us in just a minute. We got. A whole weekend of things to talk about. I want to talk about steel stocks today. Cause that seems to be the macro headline of the day. I want to talk about roadblocks. We got a couple of Evie delivery numbers to report from August to talk about. We got Tim Quast on the show today, 8 35 from market structure, edge. Looking forward to that as always, we got questions from our chat. We got charts. We got this, we got that. Joel, speaking of charts, where are your charts? But actually before we get to those charts, tell me how I need to know how many trick-or-treaters you got yesterday under, under, under what. Under the amount of candy that we bought. Okay. Fair enough. Uh, I would say between 30 and 40, uh, about five o'clock. I went into like double handful mode and, uh, Lisa got pretty upset. We're not going to have enough candy. And, uh, it turned out that we have leftover candy. So no, it was a good Halloween and it's a good day for the markets. Uh, the buyers were looking in the after hours. They were lurking at that 6:00 PM. Open we're up 18 handles in 46, 15 are crude after a flat week. That's up 36 cents at 83 93 gold in the green by three 50 at 17 87 40. Uh, silver. This is called flat here 2393 Bitcoin down a tad, but holding 60 K tested that a couple of times last week down 600 bucks, 62,410. The Ethereum futures after making that new all-time high. Oh no, not all time. High, new high for the move on a Friday, that's down to $73 and 50 cents. 43, 76 in a quarter. A good morning, God, triple D. And, uh, how was, how was the trick or treating for your. Uh, I was pretty good. It was a first time in our, uh, well rental house. So we did this whole subdivision there. The kids liked it. We had a few kids cause we're in a subdivision where on our other place, it's not as much of a subdivision, so we don't usually get any kids. So I have maybe 40 50 kids, which was quite a few nice. The boys started handing out candy and then it got interesting because he's handout med falls and I'm like, okay, you got to slow it down too. So actually we had got to words where they were still coming at seven 30 and he had to go into his own stash giving away that candy. So, you know, you learn the hard way, right? So you're giving up too much candy. Oh, now you got to go into your own staff and start giving out candy economics last central banking lesson to be learned here. I think so dip into your own stash stash. We used to do back in the old days when you ran out of. Oh, no. Is this going to be a good store? oh boy. Wouldn't do that. All tie that much. There was no way he was handing out the candy. One thing, the boy going to hand out money. I remember going trick or treating and there'd be like this one house. And they'd give you a penny for every, they'd say how old you are. If you 70, you got seven pennies in that fewer, you know, this may be dating ourselves here. Joel, when pennies were actually eliminate Canada, but yeah. And then, you know, the kids would start figuring that out. Then they'd start lying about the age of 25. Oh, you're too old for trick or treat anything at all. So, uh, I know my one friend gave out Play-Doh, which is a pretty cool, uh, you know, interesting thing. We'll tubs, the Play-Doh so lots of interesting things out there, or trick or treating DMS trick or treat and Joel, uh, I mean, we did, it's been a while with the kids. I tell you I missed it when it was like nice weather, but when it was like raining, no, it seems like it's always raining on Halloween. It's like three Halloweens in a row here was raining here too. Just not crazy, but just enough to annoy you, but it seems it didn't rain all day. And then it started sprinkling just, you know, through the Halloween. So it just seems like it's enough to annoy you. All right, let's go to the markets. Let's go to the markets and start with what I perceive to be the macro headline of the day, which is it was over the weekend. The us and the EU agreed to, uh, pause tariffs that have been in place since the Trump administration on steel and aluminum. So you're seeing steel stocks go higher. You're seeing a Harley Davidson. They are celebrating this headline at the, uh, hog headquarters, uh, this morning. And they sent out a statement that we're like, this is amazing. Explain to us. Okay. Why Harley Davidson benefits from the lifting of steel tariffs? Well, they've been paying higher prices for steel that they're making, not so much steel, but aluminum. I aluminum, I would gather. Yeah, I do see the rally. So I'm not going to challenge you. The stock is rallying significantly this morning. It's just not the first thing I would think of. Oh, you know, steel tariffs being lifted. Let's buy Harley Davidson. Definitely not the first dock. I would've thought of, but not going to argue with the pre-market action hog trading up substantially up 8.4, 4% of the premium. I don't know, is this kickstart, this dog, Joel and hog has definitely been a dog over the course of the last eight months down from 50 to 36. What are you saying on the church? Well, I'm just saying what's going to happen at 40 bucks. I mean, it's just a huge area of interest here with the stock up eight and a half percent up $3. I don't know when the last time it's moved three dot long. It had a big spike a couple of days ago, but man, if the buyers cannot get this thing over 40 and hold 40. Good for them. It's going to 41. I just look at all this apartment. Go on, hold 40. It's going to 41. That's not , I'm just, it's just, yeah. There's nothing in there. And it's just a big level. So I got to imagine, I don't know if he, if he can openness high. I mean, how much volume is it straight at 71. K, it's going to have to change volume for hog. At this time of day, you have to chew through the 37 38 39 salaries. And I bet you there's a boatload at 40. So number of the day 40, use it as you will. Yeah. So also watching steel stocks, obviously, right? Acts Nucor, Cleveland cliffs, watching those tickers. I mean, X got kick-started with their report. You know, we know they had a blowout report and make it so much money. We said, even on the show on Friday, down on the bottom line, they almost made as much as Amazon. That was from a spinner saying that it was accurate, which is crazy on the bottom. I mean, the steel stocks have been cheap for a while, but they are cyclical. So you have to consider that, that this might be as good as it gets right now. And there's going to be times where they're not making nearly as much money. So let's do X, you know, X taking off. I do own the new core NUE. Um, and you do see X falling through a little bit here this morning. Mt. Is trading up obviously over in Europe, big steel company over in Europe. And then I believe I sold my Cleveland cliffs. I debt. So the only one I have left as a new car, I sold the Cleveland clubs. Cause it got back up to that resistance again, Joel, I mean, it's been an, a range 20 to 26 has been the range. And I was like, well, you know what? It does that in three days too much too fast comes back down to 20 two-ish I probably even 23, maybe, maybe a reload. So you're 24, 30 up a little bit here this morning. But if it was to come in more, I'd probably reload, but this is the type of market. When you get the 10, 12% gain or. Yeah, I have to take it. I mean, yeah, we're making all time highs, but there's so many other stocks that are not making new all-time highs. And you know, it's been a market what's been led by mega caps obviously, but it's also been led by technology, but now there's sectors. It's, it's been a lot of chops. So you gotta take the money while you got it. And I'm looking at steel dynamics too, that Joel's got up on the screen. Right? All these charts move. Huge, huge move. If you go back, like look at the monthly, right? Yeah. Yeah. 55 to 66. I mean, these are big moves. So I don't know. I don't want to chase in this environment. I mean, it's paid to chase and tech stocks maybe, but still it's, it's, it's been a tough environment to chase, even though we're at all time highs. There's so many stocks that are not even close to all time. That's true. That's true now for rotation that keeps us strong. We know that in technology, you know, it's just, you can't beat it. I mean, all of this growth tech stocks are back in favor of the Kathy stocks for the most part are back in favor. Um, you know, not saying Kathy's back, but I'll tell you right now, when you look at the air K

Hope you all had a great weekend and slept better than I did for whatever reason I could not sleep all weekend, but we got some things to discuss on our minds. Question number one, how do we feel? Going into the last quarter of the year. We got some people, some of us are bullish or bearish, probably don't even know where we stand. So we'll talk about that on today's show, we'll talk Tesla, of course, at Q3 deliveries out over the weekend. And they'd be the estimates on that. I want to talk about the oil spill off the coast of California. There was a company at the heart of that that is publicly traded. So we'll get to that. Merck is still going on this morning. I want to talk about Merck as well. We'll get to your questions from our chat. Tim Quast will be on the show at 8 35 as always the founder of market structure edge. And I just want to say we're calling it number two, but you don't need the prerequisite. If you didn't sign up for number one, you're going to be okay. It's going to start from, obviously we're going to start and you'll understand it all as well. So we're not just going to dive into content. It's not building from level one. It's talking different. So we're gonna go into some detail. I'm going to talk about no marketing, a lot of market neutral trading, you know, because in this environment long Olney, and we're gonna get into this discussion in a few minutes has really suffered. If you're a long, only trader it's been a tough year, but if you're an obviously, you know, if you can be a stock picker, it's still been okay in the market is still up. But I'd say in the last six months, if you're fading and you're going both ways and you're doing other things, some, some traders are having career years. I know Kenny, Quick's doing fantastic over there. I hit the bed. Um, you know, I'm doing pretty good too on my trading as well. I think this is my, I think that's my fourth best year ever. It's setting up to be so far. So it's up there. It's been a really good year for a traders, but as a swing trader, a longterm investor, my longterm investing portfolio has gotten nowhere in the last six months. It's just kind of sitting here and hanging out. And that's really because you look at the IWM overall and it's kind of gone nowhere and I'm long, only in my long-term. But as a trader, you kind of go both ways. You talk different strategies, you know, and that's what we're going to talk about. On October 16th, teach you, teach you different ways to look at the market. All that being said, let's look at the market and we'll get Joel's charts up on the screen here. I would do it this morning. We're done, we're done 14 and a half handles had a little fall through rally overnight 43 62, that your pre-market high that'd be a good number because that's 32 animals away. Got to 43 15 and folks, nothing there. I absolutely no reason for it to stop going there just a yo-yo market crude flat at 75 88 gold down five bucks at 70 17 53 20 a silver that's down 15 cents, 2238, Bitcoin Ethereum, Goldman opposite ways, a Bitcoin down six, 10, trying to work its way up to the top of a trading range, perhaps. And the theory and futures are up 14 or excuse me, $15 at 3,337. So Boyle boy, we we're doing some market talk right on the pre pre market show. And we got, we got some opinions, different opinions. I'll say, I will say I'm bearish, but I'll say I'm nervous. I'm nervous about this market. And my thesis is pretty much technically based and I don't like the way we ended the quarter. Right. We've had six quarters in a row. We were up, we barely eat out the quarter. Uh, number speaking, I mean, I could, could be convinced, you know, we hold 43 50, I'll flip to the bull side, but the other thing is. The overnight action, right? The whole time up in this market, the overnight action has been strong and stronger and holding the daily gains and adding onto them, maybe a little pullback, but now it just seems like there's just more rat. Like we come in in the morning and it's a fight. The market has to fight its way back up and then knock it back down at night. And then it fights its way back up. Whereas for the last six quarters, it was, you know, finished strong, open, strong hangout, maybe improve on the high. So that's what I'm looking at. Of course, we're coming into earning season, right. Q3 earnings season, and you get a bunch of good reports. I think you're also, you're losing some leadership here and I, I know you like to talk about a more diversified market, but you know, apple, I mean, that's pulled off and so I've looked, I'm just looking at the top components here, apple, Microsoft, man, it looks a little tired, a little tired. I'm glad you brought that up. Can you look at that? Amazon Amazon. I think this might be Amazon's worst year, maybe songs 2018. Uh, hasn't been great. It's been Amazon's worst year in, in quite some time. Yeah. I mean, this looks like a lot of shirts this year, where you had, you know, a little bit of a, you had the big run last year, and this has been a lot for a lot of stocks, a digestion you digesting huge gains from the previous year. I mean, Amazon had that huge drum from 2000 to 3,500. Maybe it was too much too fast where it was when zombie apocalypse was happening. We're never gonna go into a store again. Well, that didn't happen. So, but Amazon has still continued to grow. Amazon continues to still do everything. It's still remembered it's core. It's still, um, is a core position in my longterm portfolio, but there's so many charts, Spencer, that look just like that from this year. I mean, bring up the IWM, which encompasses every small cap stock, you know, 2000 of them there. So. Bring that up. And, you know, you, you see a similar chart. I mean, the IWM and Amazon really have nothing to do with each other, but it's the same thing. Huge runs 20, 20 back-half, 2021 digestion. I mean, you could even argue Tesla similar and it's a little more slapped because he had a really big run in February, but you've been digesting here in Tesla for a little bit too. So, I mean, I don't know what to say. This is what the discussion we're having in the pre pre market show is. Let's go back to the spa. Is this market, you know, is this the digestion period? And eventually we're going to start running here at the, you know, in the last month or two of the year, or is this the start of something, you know, where people are just tired of owning stocks for a little bit. I got to cash up there, you know, cause I, uh, the SOP cash, I mean, is this. I mean, look at that. I mean, it's just been, it's been basically straight up since the March low. Well you've had your dips and everything, and now you come down, I mean, 4,000, would it be the end of the world? If we came down to 4,000 in the SOP and consolidated, or even worked our way into, you know, 3,900 or 3,500, would that be the end of the world? No, I, I think that another good way to put it. I think that whatever upside here may be in the market, I think it's offset by the potential downside. And so what are you doing? Are you still, are you selling stocks? If you're there, you're just holding. I'm holding Warren Buffett is holds through it all. No, I'm not buying. I don't want to buy I'm nervous. I've never been nervous. I mean, well, he had, well, we had the, uh, you know, now we're not like, uh, pre COVID, like January and February nervous. Right. I was nervous. I'm not like that. I don't know. I mean, the market continues to prove bears wrong. Right. So why is this time going to be any different? That's right. That's what I asked you. Why you asked it to yourself, which is great. I mean, your thesis is you think, and you still the, that with Joel that we're going to be making new all-time highs by the end of the year. Yes. One so much on the fence. So go, go, go, go. Um, I am ho I was hoping to be back in the office today. I wanted to go back to the office, but today I was told what I have for wait. Basically 10 days from when I've been symptom-free. So I'm not allowed back in the office till next week, apparently is the rule. So I'm stuck home for the rest of the week now, but, um, doesn't mean it can't do the show. So here I am. And here we are. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, everyone in the chat. Let's catch up there. Good morning and war Jim Dino, Evan Donkin, Dave, everyone, and everyone. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Um, Ivan's fine. Seth will be our guest today. 8 35 tigers, financial partners, users, CIO, or gait. His thoughts on markets. We'll talk the Bitcoin ETF. We'll talk earnings. We'll talk about the game. Cy proport from the sec. Last night I read the whole thing, so you don't have to, but it actually was a good read. So we'll get to all that. But first we have to get the charts up on the screen. Joel, how are we doing on this Tuesday morning? Um, well you had the small dip yesterday. Now a dip is any time that the SLPs are rat even by tech. Now we've done. We're off 2250. Spend a little time beneath the clothes snug into the 4,500 handle all four fifties, your eye, your next daily high that's coming up at oh nine and a quarter. That's usually a timber ten's high crudes. Do it okay to up 76 cents at 82 44 challenging night. The move from yesterday, you have silver catching, a bit of 65 cents to 2392 Bitcoin. That's up 7 55 and 62,000 4 0 5. Ethereum. That's up to $37. It's 3008, 1150. So triple D uh, boring after hours. Huh? Did you have, it was really slow. Last night we had like a three point and P range for the better part of three hours. It was just nothing happening. Um, a little bit of movement, more movement. It's been kind of a straight up climb here over. Again, by the dip. When's the day yesterday, I was hoping for a little bit bigger dip, but I did get down and dirty, uh, reallocating the longterm portfolio, doing a few things. So what I was doing yesterday was trading in utility stocks. For bank stocks. Um, and the, on the, in the Canadian side, not the U S side, because some of these Canadian bank stocks haven't really run that much in there. Yeah. I bought a bunch of this in my long-term retirement account yesterday. I sold what a stock called Canadian utilities, which a big utility company in Canada. My thought process here, obviously this is the long-term hat on is that if inflation is sticky, I believe it is. That's not good for, you know, instruments and investment vehicles that are just basically dividend and which is a utility stock. I think the Canadian utilities is like a 4.7 or 4.8% div. And I was like, I'm not sitting around in there to just collect 4.7% and inflationary environment. I'm going to actually go over to banking Nova Scotia, which gives me a 4.4, 2% dividend, almost as nice. But with the upside of participating in appreciation, if interest rates do start to create. So that was my thought process yesterday. So I was doing a little bit of buying in the Canadian banks. I also bought a, uh, a bank called Laurentian bank, which is called back. So I don't believe that's traded over here, so they won't be able to see that one, but just getting down and dirty, getting a little more exposure for if we do get into a rising interest rate. I remember wrenching. You know what Laurentian does trade in the U S central bank. Does the ticker is L R C D F. Yeah. Whenever they have more than four assembles. And I just don't so, yeah, L R C D F I guess, is what I was buying yesterday. I think it's got like a 5% and it's got a pretty nice one too. So you're getting the dividend again, getting exposure to banks, because I just feel like we're in this environment, that inflation is not going to magically go away. And I do believe that eventually. Especially if the market continues to rise, that's going to have to do something about it. So John Dawson in the chat says, this is what John Dawson loves Laurentian bank. I don't know if he's, uh, if he works there or if he's a customer, maybe circle back. There's a lot of, he's a cool back, I believe. And I know Ontario Laurentian bank headquarters to a Horseman's convention outside of Montreal. Last straw you ever been there? That was probably seventies or eighties. That's the headquarters is in Montreal. We're going to expose exposer exposure to some French facts, but I think there English as well, or exposure to banks, all I wanted was more exposure to banks. Let's try and look at the charts and look at a few of the Canadian banks that haven't just ripped and roared. I mean, Royal bank. Really how or why is that one? It's really how to run here. So whenever give Canadian banks the lot we shut, there's like 5:00 PM banks we've been looking at double digits. 13 Wu is a pretty good. Yes, it was a pretty good guy. Remember when that was going on of business, that almost happened. Yeah, that almost happened. I remember there was a lot of books in the office that I remember in the office that day. Anthony Loverde said, this is just like how it was with. And then, um, in terms of the trading that they anyway. Um, okay. So I want to talk about this a sec report for a minute, and then we can move on, but I read the whole thing. So you don't have to, actually, I, I do think it was a pretty interesting read, even if you, you know, what happened in January, February, and you were there and you follow the story the entire time, it was still an interesting read. I thought you could just skip to the last page and see the conclusions, but, but if you're into this stuff, which I am, then, then I think, I think you might actually enjoy reading it. Um, a couple of takeaways that I had, uh, or that I had from the, that the sec had number one, um, off exchange trading, uh, volume is the sec thinks that's a problem, right? They talked a lot about that. How, uh, not all, uh, retail order flow gets to the market. We know this, and as you've obviously been complaining about that, I don't know a decade. So I think it's 12 years. Yeah. Um, th this is an interesting stat and I can pull up a chart here in a second. Um, the increases in price coincide, this is a I'm reading now direct quote, the increases coincided with a sharp increase in the number of individual counts, actively trading GME, uh, by January 27th, the number of unique accounts trading GME on any given day increased from less than 10,000 at the beginning of January to nearly 900,000. Whereas that chart, let me pull it up for you. This is a chart that shows the number of active accounts. We're trading it as many as 900,000 in the beginning. So where did it go come from? Oh, from fro it started here. I don't know what is that like 10,000, no, less than that. Uh, yeah, to show how much this retail movement, when they get on a stock, how much influence the retail traders have. It's uh, it's absolutely amazing to see that shirt that's yeah, incredible. Incredible. And you can see, so the green is, is institutions and headphones, so that increased, but not nearly to the extent that the retail accounts increase. So, um, I thought, I, I thought that was very interesting. Yeah, sure. It tells the whole story. I mean, this was the buzz, this was the hype. This is, you know, the whole reason behind it. The the sec point out that there are some headphones that will cost money and other hedge funds that that made money. So if you're thinking this was like, um, you know, the, the, the populist movement, the little guy gets it at the expense of the big guy while some hedge funds made money, too. So not quite like GameStop did not, uh, did experience some fails to deliver, but, uh, not enough to indicate there was any naked, short selling. There's Dennis there's Joel. Uh, first I will turn my camera on for a moment, so you can see, uh, that I I'm home right now. The problem is my, my. CUNY home computer can't really handle short with the camera. So I'm home. The reason I'm home and not at the office is because drum roll, please. I have COVID. So I've been diagnosed confirmed two times with, uh COVID-19. So for the next 10 days, actually, um, eight days, cause it's from the starting of symptoms, which for me were Monday. Um, I will be confined to my, to my house, my apartment, and I'll be stuck here. Uh, and that's the situation. So we're going to roll with the punches for the next week or so, because I'm going to be here right now. I'm working off of a laptop with two screens. Um, we're going to, we're going to do our best to Joel and Dennis and Mitch. We're all going to power through. I am feeling okay. I've you know, you've probably heard me. What are your symptoms? What are your symptoms? Well, I've got this, uh, little nagging cough, which you'll probably hear, which I've, uh, I've had to, I've had this since Monday. Um, I'm congested, which, um, you can maybe also hear though, I, I do feel noticeably better today than I was yesterday, yesterday to not feel great. Um, in hindsight, shouldn't have gone to the office and that's something that I will have to live with. Uh, but I do have never have not a fever. I have not had any breathing problems. Um, and I, and I have asthma, which is so that's concerning. Uh, but no, just the, just the cough and the congestion, some sinus pressure and a little bit of neck pain, which when I was at the urgent care yesterday, the second one, because I went to, to, uh, the second one, she said, yeah, neck pain is a common thing with. The Delta variant apparently. Um, so here, here's what she said yesterday. Uh, when w when we got there. So I, I went and I got a COVID test yesterday, Alec nude, and it came back positive. I have like three o'clock, three 30, and I was like, ah, I'm looking at another one just to be safe. So I want to get a second one. And when I went to the second place, uh, we told them, you know, it was me and Arielle, my fiance, and, uh, we were both at, to get tested and I got the Johnson, Johnson, she got the Madrona and the doctor said, oh, but , that's great. I've only seen one breakthrough case with a return, a vaccine. Well, what do you know now? She seemed to know. So, and then she said, she, she said, uh, she asked what I got Pfizer modernize. Neither. I got Johnson Johnson, and she went, Ooh, that's interesting. And I went, wait, why is that interesting? And so, but basically she just, hadn't seen a lot of Johnson, Johnson vaccines. Um, but she was like, yeah, you probably have COVID right off the bat. Uh, but anyway, so she'd only seen one, one of my during a breakthrough case. Uh, and before yesterday, now she seemed to, so that that's the story morning glory. And, uh, how's, how's there. She's fine. She has her only symptom is starting this morning. She's a little bit congested, but she had nothing yesterday, nothing the day before. Uh, we don't know where we got it and like that, but, uh, we will be staying home for the next 10 days. And, um, I can't really see the chat right now, cause I don't have this green space. So thank you. I want you to feel better. Okay. Thank you to everyone. I assume. You're all saying nice things. And again, I turned my camera on just to show you that I am alive and well, but my computer literally can't handle the camera right now. Um, so that's the story. I'm going to get, uh, the monoclonal antibody, uh, treatment today because I qualify for asthma because I have asthma. She does not, she has no pre-existing conditions. So I don't know if she can qualify, um, to get it. You call you already called. I know I want it. I have to call them after we have to put on my, my computer may maybe, uh, doing some weird things right now, but I'm trying to, I'm trying to pull up the chat with very limited screen space. So anyway, that's the story. That's why the show got off to a slow start. That's why my camera's not on, um, uh, there's my computer being weird again. Okay. Well, we're glad you're feeling a good Spencer. Your sound, obviously it seems like the vaccines are somewhat working for you guys because you guys, neither of you are very sick so far. Yeah, definitely. I mean, that, that was a concern of mine. The entire time is I have to be preexisting in one condition and this is a lung disease, but I have no breathing problems. I have no wheezing, none of that. So I'm feeling like pretty encouraged. Um, so yeah, that's basically the story. Um, that being said let's uh, yeah, David, don't worry. Okay. Wow crew down 65 cents 78, 28 gold down to 20 17 58 50 silver, the red by 20 cents at 2241 Bitcoin 52 handled 52 K uh, 52, 1 10 up four 80 Ethereum golden. The other way down 3%. Um, Hmm. Well, I would keep an eye on that Bitcoin bowls. Uh, cause that's been the leader that's done 110 bucks or 34 14. I'm going to bring up the S and P chart here. And, um, we had a couple of inside days and we have a trading range and Mitch and I were on at 3 30, 3 40 yesterday. And I was just talking about, wow, all these highs in the same area and all these lows in the same area. And, uh, it looked like we were just, you know, it looked okay. And then late in the day, man, someone came in with their solid shoes on and they haven't let up. So. Dennis wrote, I guess, read dumb, you know, dot up 40 handles. You sell it down. 40 handles you buy it. I just don't know how long I think this time, I don't think we're going to get the, is back up to that 40 to 43 60 area. I think it's, this is a really interesting day because the market has been knocked down and it's come back. And this is, this could be really like the F this is the fourth try. So support is support until it's broken and we've been in a trading range, but man, oh man, what a, what a choppy start to the quarter. Okay. I mean, you look at that chart though, and it's very clear. That range was very clear and you have, it is not paid to chase any move. We're going to say it again. This we've been saying this for a month. Even months, we've been saying this for two, three months. It's been fade, trade market, the constrain market, the selling of the reps, the buying of the depths. If you're buying the reps and selling the dips, you are losing money to the people who are doing it the right way. So, I mean this last four or five days is just a perfect example of what this market has been for a long time that you know, the market with no memory, we go up 50 down 50. So we look at the last four days down, 60 handles

Two 30 is the press conference. So watching not so much for what the fed does, cause they're not going to do anything but support for what they signal. And then how convincing is Mr. Powell? We're going to be at two 30, so we're watching. Uh, watching some earnings stocks. Haven't been able to do that for a while, but FedEx, Adobe, StitchFix watching all those docs as they react to their earnings reports. From yesterday, we had general mills this morning as well. We'll talk Disney on the show today as well. I will take questions from our chat, as we always tried to do. And our guest is Jonathan Corr, peanut senior managing partner at Meridian equity partners. Joel, how are we doing this morning? We're good. We're good. We're up 30 handles 30 and a half handles it, uh, uh, 43 66 75, just a few points off the pre-market high. Uh, there was a little solid after the FedEx number, so we traded down to 21 and a quarter. That was a good 10 steaks below the load from yesterday, uh, inside day. Well, no, I guess now with that trend, it's all about the fed and, uh, we'll see what happens today. I'm sure we're just going to be a lot of chop and slop. Like it was yesterday. Be between 52, 43 50 and maybe 43 80, but we'll see what direction we get from the fed, uh, crudes up a bucket 71 49, trying to move back up to test the resistance just under 73. Gold's down 5 60 17, 72 60. Uh, That's up a nickel at 2267 Bitcoin sinking towards 1000 or 4,000, but you got three lows in the same area. Let's see. If you can find support. Here is actually to two grand off its lows. That's good news for delirium traders and, um, Ethereum, that's up just fractionally here trading at 28 97, but I can't believe we did the whole show yesterday, Dennis, and we need to talk about one stock, one stock. What's the ones that we didn't talk about. Microsoft. It's true. It's true. And he went, oh my gosh. He did you snuck that one in? How the heck did you get that thing under two 90? Joel, you snuck that right in. Yeah, you only owe me like 102 lunches now knocked off trend. It's a trend. That's a first victory over me and so long. Wow. Congratulations. Thank you. 2 89 52 prints. Yes. Three days after the 3 0 5 bailed out by the overall market. It was the overall market, but man, I was just hoping it was going to hold that 3 0 5. I showed on the, just looking at. I had no idea. I thought like I was looking at 2 95, no idea it got down to two 90. It just ticked it too. You got so lucky now, you know why it'll go up to like three 20 and be like, you won that back by like a nickel, I think because it's been so long. I think we just start with a clean slate and you owe me one lunch and then we'll take it from there. Well, forget about all the bets lunches. Yes. Yeah, no, no, I will knock one off. So it's seriously, you probably owed me 10 lunches. So you're down in. A lot of bets in a row, not to mention the state dinners, he did pay one of those steak dinners off where crash. All right. Where's the, where's the leader. Where's I fear this leader. I'm here, I'm here. So do you guys have any thoughts on the federal? Should we just move, move past that, but the market's reaction to the fed, we know what's going to be, it's just going to be a matter of it's the fed, you know, like if the market starts to show some weakness, he'll he don't kid yourself. When they're going in and talking, there'll be looking what the market's doing even ahead of it. The fed is not data dependent is market dependent. The market shows too much weakness. They'll talk it back up. They'll talk dovish. The only time they start to get a little bit tough was when the market's at all time highs. So, and honestly it depends what's happens going into the meeting, but we're holding on what, why the overnight rally Joel, because we're significantly off the lows. If yeah, cause we. Last night around like 39 o'clock we were down significantly. How far are we off the lows now? Oh, just 43 handles 43 handles house that we were down 20. Now we're up 24. Yeah. Yeah. Doing, doing my math from the spa. Yeah, that's fine. You can do wild ranges. Good trading. I mean, again, the trade is the fade trade. I'm going to continue to say it. If you're buying breakouts or you're selling breakdowns, you were doing it backwards. The fade trade continues to work. We got an absolutely correct yesterday on this show when spy was trading up at 4 37 and 4 38, and the pre-market we were saying, if you're buying now, you're doing it backwards. I'd be selling the rep. And absolutely it was a rip to be sold. We came way down. We did not quite get to the low from the 20th, but we got close overnight. So now we've bounced that low is protected. Shed new. So you're still within a range though. So I think you're buying depths and selling reps until further notice. Uh, yeah, like I said, it, you know, um, you have three lower highs, uh, so you need to get above a 95, 75 that break that high for today. It's just kinda, you know, we came off, we broke the 50 day average, you know, so everyone shaking in their boots. Uh, we found a support and it was protected. I mean, that's selling, it took place after the close, uh, that was just like people freaking out on the FedEx numbers. And that was their seller balances to Dennis. Uh, can you remember? No, I can't remember. So this is when, uh, you know, we were a little bit weak the last hour, and then, you know, just before that five o'clock close, got a little bit nervous, but once again, by the D I mean, we're really stuck in a range here. Uh, and like I said, it almost an insight inside day yesterday, today. Would that funky law? Maybe not so much, but we'll see. We'll see what up pump pile can do for us. FedEx let's go right there. This was an interesting report. I I'm actually a little bit surprised cause we haven't heard too many companies come and say outright, uh, or blame labor shortages outright for, I mean, we've seen it in like in, in, in, in food services right in McDonald's et cetera. Uh, but I haven't seen too many companies come out and actually say, yeah, labor shortages are causing us problems. Well, that's what FedEx said yesterday. Their EPS master sales was already there, EPS missed and they cut their guidance. And the reason they cut their guidance that they said was because labor shortages and supply chain problems. Um, and, and it's weighing on the company. So that's what FedEx said yesterday. That's why they missed. And that's why the stock is down this morning. Important level, I'll go to the level, Joel, and take it away from your back on January 29th, it traded down to 2 30, 4 79. That is the level that it needs to hold because we had a huge run, 2020 going straight up. You don't want to get below that. So that's the level it needs to hold. It needs to balance bulls still in control in the long-term. As long as that 2 34 holes, but bears have taken hold of this stock. All right. I mean, valuation perspective, the stock is cheap, but you know, we know some of the cheap value stocks just have continued to get cheaper. So I don't know. I think if you want to try it off that 2 34, 79, you could, but give yourse

I just want to mention one thing about the event and for the people that have either signed up for the first event or signing up for the second. Just a little bit of a teaser, but let's look at the markets first and oh no, dad's saying of the day dads love complaining when the grocery store changes its layout. What do you absolutely. I mean, I do, I do that. I'm not a dad. I only do the peripheral shopping. I just go around the edge. I never really go through the aisles. I buy all the fresh stuff and then you got to go back there and like three days. Okay. All right. I don't care. Change the stuff in the middle. Don't matter to me, but don't move that stuff on the outside. Right? Just don't move the maple syrup, uh, futures, Joe, get Boeing off the screen. There all I have, I got bowling on the mind, uh, up 17 and a quarter handles strong, close at 4:00 PM. Mark really didn't represent the strength we traded up after hours. Um, Uh, pre-market low 26 and quarter. I don't know if we'll see that that's just below the clothes and I got no major resistance up here. Folks, really nothing up here until 43 72. And that that's not far away based on the average daily range or crewed up 82 cents at 82 13. And yes, crude is challenging the high of the move. I think it's right here. Uh, the high of the move adds made a new high. The move. The question will be, will be a double top 82, 18 82 30. Sure. Doesn't feel that way. When it was minus $37 a barrel, it was minus 40. Cause we thought the world was gonna end. I know. And I was trying to get me in rise. We're trying to get the water out of her swimming pools. Cause we were ready to take delivery. It would've been, I would've paid man. I would have paid the bills. I don't know if the liner would have really liked it, but would have paid the bills $82 now. Yep. And, uh, let's see gold dealing with 1800, just too much down in 19 bucks, 17 78, 90 silver slippers, but still in the 23 handle, a silver is down 19.70 cents a 2385 Bitcoin. All they're doing few, they're doing ETFs, buy, buy, buy, buy Bitcoin, a new high. It's not confirmed though, is it? They just haven't confirmed here. You know, we just had a step towards, and we have a rumor mill going and, um, and full disclosure. I don't, I don't spend a lot of time looking at, you know, the, uh, going out on the futures curve at the time curve and looking at for a further month features. But if you go look at the Bitcoin futures now in. January, they're turning out a nice, hefty premium to the spot price Bitcoin. Right now spot Bitcoin is around $59,000 is right. It's 59. We'll call it fifty nine five. That's where Bitcoin. That's a spot big corner right now. 59 and five. If you go look at November on the futures or January 6 61, right? You got a nice half the premium there. Yep. Contango Dennis, get all contango. Good old contango. All right. We'll see what happens on that theory. That's going the opposite way. That's down. Just a distance. Why is it going down big day yesterday? I don't know. They're just, I think they're just decoupling here a little bit. Uh, that's up. That's near, I mean, it's just a quiet range. Had a big day yesterday. Digested it, uh, down 3,800. Well, the future's 3,800. I don't know about the cash. 3700 3700. There you go. I think I bought it like 2100, right, bro. Pretty good on that Ethereum so far. It was a scary one though. I remember I bought it on the first step and then it bounced like to 27 and like two days. And I was like, I'm the best at this crypto trading. And then like a week later, it's back down to 21 and then it went under, I think, went down like 1900. I was like, oh, I suck at this. I'm back though. I'm back. All right. One thing about the cryptos is, you know, there's no gaps, right? The 24 hour market, you don't have to go going and going and going. That's what they're going to do in the U S markets too. That's what, yeah, that guy for the stock exchange, what was his name? We had him on. He poo-pooed that? What was his name? Real fast, ticker fault on the cha asked if you can short the futures and by the spot and profit on the spread. Yeah. That's like an institutional things. The big boys, Carrie, and costs. You've got other things involved. I'm not a crypto trader. I'd have to analyze the reason that doesn't work. And, you know, obviously it's, you know, from, from a practical standpoint, in a lot of cases is the carrying costs of it all. But I mean, if you analyze all of that, I, I haven't ever looked at, you know, the futures are versus, you know, the actual spot on crypto. So maybe there is an opportunity there is, and there will be when we get an ETF and that's why there's so much premium right now. It's because the whispers are, as soon as Monday, they're saying probably not Monday, but a futures need to react down on Monday when we don't get an ETF because CF is coming. We know we, we feel like we know this. What we don't know is like a. Pure Bitcoin spot ETF. That ETF that actually holds Bitcoin. That's what we don't know if we're going to get yet, but futures, ETF, just like there is the USO, right? It's the same thing. Just different asset it's coming. We don't know when, but maybe probably soon probably. Maybe is it, should we tell, so there is actually, there's a, there's multiple firms. There's like three firms that have all filed for the same kind of product, basically, same Bitcoin for DTF. So, um, the sec has, has those filings and they're set to decide on them. The

As I said, welcome to pre-market a prep, Spencer Israel, there's joy, Alcon, and Dennis, Nick is here as well, lurking in the background. And as he's wanting to do, he'll be on in just a second. We got a lot to discuss, and then we'll recap what happened on Friday over the weekend. Last night, this morning, we got to talk about the infrastructure. Bill is probably going to be the story of the day, how to trade that. Yes, we will also talk about Tesla. Elon Musk is acting strange on Twitter again. So we have to thought about that. That's the law. We will take questions from our chat. We will take questions from Tim Quast or we will ask them questions at 8 35. He is from market structure edge, also the sponsor of today's show. So we got a lot to get to Joel. Good morning. I see your charts. We'll get it up on the screen. How was your. Ah, very good. Welcome in everyone. This Monday version of pre-market prep, 8:02 AM and the spoos are our grain. We're up to 75 and 46 93. I tried to test the low from Friday off the open, but caught a bed. Uh, our number focused number of the day 90 and a quarter. That's our all-time closing high. We've had seven higher highs, seven higher lows and seven old time. Closing highs is what a remarkable feat. Let's hope that continues today. Our crude is in the green by 60 cents and 81 87 to start recovering from that dip under 80 gold clear as 1800 up to 80 at 18 19 70 silver. It's going the same way. That's up 18 cents, a 24 34 Bitcoin catches a bid. Let's see, not a new all-time high yet on the rolling futures, but rock almost 5,100 bucks is 66,500 and Ethereum futures. They're up $276 and 75 cents and 48 0 7 triple D. Uh, when are you coming over for lunch? Like when are you coming to visit. And M and a, the borders are open. You tell me the borders are open. Orders are open. And I mentioned on that pre pre-market show with Emily, I had a gig of a photograph of someone that hasn't seen their husband in two years, keigo, Harvard. She was supposed to be there at 1:00 AM and the person got there at 3:00 AM or three 30. So I imagined that border man and the person just fly over because I've got a, one of my good friends, my own, and my good friends got married during COVID. You can fly over the border. So, I mean, it's not like you can't to see your husband. They just got to fly and not drive over the borders. I don't think no, I don't think so. A hundred percent, my buddy flies over every three weeks to see his wife. Yeah, he got married during COVID. You can fly over. I have another friend who, same thing it's wrong. Like, I mean, you can like, obviously you can't drive over the borders, but you've been able to fly over the borders for a long time. So it's no problems to fly over the borders to see your wife, but you cannot drive over the borders. So I don't know, maybe it wasn't excused by that person, but. So that, that was the goal. That was the work around in the last year. You could fly. So if I want to go out for lunch with you, Joel, I could have flew, literally gone in the Windsor, you know, airplane flown straight up into the sky. Maybe landed, try. I don't know if they have one of those or not, but to go the five miles across the border, but yeah, you could fly across. What's the nearest airport for you now? Toronto? Yeah, the bay major Toronto. Alright, so what do you got going on here? Weak, weak, overnight rocked. Don't be short infrastructure stocks. That's the tip of the day, huh? So today you don't want to be on the wrong side of the infrastructure trade. I am on the wrong side of the infrastructure tray, but that's what my overnight portfolio. So, you know, you'll work out of that stuff. Sometimes it works out. Sometimes it doesn't, that's a little bit of the name of the game on any given day. It's a lot of luck involved in trading. So we have a bill, it looks like it was passed late Friday. I don't believe it's been actually signed by the president yet, but that's, that's frankly a formality at this point. So we're going to get $1.2 trillion injected eventually into all sorts of things. And here is what is in place so far today. Steel we'll start with steel stocks, right? Take her ex ticker, C L F you know them by now new core steel is in play today. Uh, there's a lot of money going towards just broad. Um, I'm not sure what you would call it. Just broad base, just roads and bridges and things like that. Upgrading, upgrading all that right. Transportation infrastructure. Um, Evie stocks are in play today. Forget what's going on with Tesla, but Evie stocks are going gonna play today. There is a bad seven and a half billion dollars in the, uh, in the bill, uh, allocated for, uh, electrifying school buses, uh, and creating, or actually there's another center that building for EVs charging stations. So ticker is Evie geo ticker, C H T actually. EVG L also had another headline today. So it's up for two reasons, but, uh, EVs stocks, charging stations in play today. Um, what else do we have? We have a broadband broadband upgrade. So internet infrastructure is in play today. Um, you've got transit and rail. So rail railroads in play today, basically every infrastructure, right? Stock is in play today because buy in play meaning where it's strong today. Not because sometimes they say in play, meaning takeover, not takeover, not takeover, but yeah. So strong, very strong. So you can see Evie go right. There is probably your strongest, but there you go. I mean, there's so many stocks. It's like rotation station here, and there's a lot of stocks. I mean, that's the PZ luck in their flat. Well, Tesla's not helping that, which we'll get to in a few minutes, but you know, there's a number of stocks that are actually trading lower here today. Some of your tech stocks are actually not participating here at the bank, mega tech. Uh, but some of the smaller ones are not, but then you come in the lock and you're like, okay, well, what's really the driver here today. What is moving up here today? And it is all those infrastructure stocks that Spencer just mentioned. I mean, you've got U us steel X trading up four and a half percent. We got a new core. I still have new Chrome, my longterm portfolio up 4.4%. CLF I did not rebuy it. I was hoping to get 22. I might've missed it. I actually got there twice. I should elect 22 0 9 22 0 9. Even some of the show, it gets down to like 22. I'm going to buy it. It would have been the buy. Now it's up at 2350. So I want to re get my Cleveland cliffs. I'm not sure I'm chasing it up 5% here today, but then he can go into the construction stocks. He'd go to like bulk and materials VMC it's up 13.7%. It's a huge move for Vulcan Martin Marietta MLMs up 25 points here this morning. You're seeing, you know, uria is another one, obviously equipment rental up 20 points here this morning. So this is a massive. Massive moves off this and John Deere, John Deere, John, Deere's getting a lift here. I mean, obviously the cat's getting a lift here, full sculpture. I got an overnight position in caterpillar. Um, there's just a ton of stocks that are, you know, getting a lift here, uh, from the infrastructure bill. So I don't know. So what do you do? You're on your stocks here? Is this a ring, the register opportunity or is this, um, you know, a chase and they're going to go higher type of trade? I I'm, I'm not sure. I mean, it's a big, big, overnight move. And if I, and I, I never chase, you know, that I don't chase stocks, so if I'm not in it, I missed it. I missed it. But now I would be looking at maybe some of these stocks on pullbacks maybe to get in, but if you're in them and you all of a sudden get a seven, 8%, you know, in the case of like, uh, VMC trading up 7% and the pre-market like, this is a huge. Move for a stock, like, think about this move in the last month, it's moved 25 bucks, but I mean, really this thing's been stuck in a trading range. These aren't stocks that typically go up 7% overnight and boom, you've got Vulcan materials up 7% here overnight. Is it a ring, the registrar opportunity, but then you got a stock that's making a new high. So I don't like to sell stocks, making new highs, cause new highs, but get newer highs. So I think you're buying pullbacks as opposed to, you know, just, you know, selling it short here and I don't short rocket ship, so I probably wouldn't be doing that at all. I dunno. How are

It seems like every day stocks up 20% stocks down. It's a hundred percent and not just random stocks, like big stocks to stocks that we've all heard of. And talk about. We talk about that. We got inflation, don't forget. At eight 30 CPI, we have the long awaited, an IPO, probably the most hyped IPO in quite some time. So we got a lot to get through today. Let's get to the show and hopefully cover all of this, uh, or as much. Coming to you live from downtown Detroit. This has been zingers pre-market prep with your host Joel Kahn. And this is a vowel tile puppy here. Isn't it. And Dennis Dick I've been in the penny. I will buy the stock for a pet with everything that you need to start your trading day. Mr Joelle Connie. Good morning. How was your day going so far? So far? So good. Good morning. Good morning to everybody. Uh, starting the day, a little bit in the red, uh, found some resistance just above the clothes were down nine and three quarters handles at 46, 68 50. Of course, that all could change it. Eight 30 when we get some more inflation data, our crude in the red by 49 cents at 83 66 has a high at 84 97. So buck, buck 40 off the high. Golden the red by $2 and 50 cents at 18 28 30 silver going the same way. That's down about 4 cents to 24, 28 Bitcoin peeling back a little bit down $1,070 and 66, 5 55. And a theory is going the same way. That's down $73 and 75 cents at 47, 28 and a quarter let's bring in a triple D triple D needs a vacation season, triple D just stepped away. And other areas here. I was here the whole time. Oh, your camera was off. So I didn't know. I forgot it off. All right. I do need a vacation. This has been just, you know, the markets get me. The kids are getting me too. I mean, I've got sick kids here for, I feel like a month anyways. I just finally got both kids back to school and then just middle of the night, 10 o'clock I just an unbelievable the four year old. I, I, I hear and she's in the bathroom throwing up. She got woke herself up from a deep sleep. A four year old, got to the toilet, did not even spill a drop and got all the puke into the toilet. So hero in that way, but no idea why she was throwing up. She threw up multiple times. She wakes up this morning and she's perfectly fine. So I have no idea what's going on. I get to keep her home from school because obviously she's throwing up last night. So we got the kids here, but, and then the boys throwing a fit because he doesn't have the pants he wants to wear. So well, welcome to a TA like a young kid problems. I don't know, actually, I, I was trading, so I don't even know what they have. So I don't know. Actually it appeared to be some type of noodle though. I will tell, I will say that that's crazy though, that a four year old woke herself out of a deep sleep, got to the toilet and threw it all up and didn't even spill a drop. I mean, I can't believe that. So anyways, this is a, this is a tangent of all tangents, maybe. So we should bring, I mean, I was waiting for a vacation. I was like, I need a vacation when the markets that is killed on something every day, I don't mean to rub it in, but I'm 99% sure you wore that shirt yesterday. No, I know who changes their shirt during earning season. You've got kids puking. We got earnings nonstop. All I do is trade. I mean, I'm trading nonstop, so that's all I do is trade. I got to dig myself out of these epic holes I have every morning. So. Today's whole, I don't actually, I maybe not in a big hole here this morning. I don't know, but I'm not in great stocks either. So this has been one of those, I'd say a month where it has been a rollercoaster ride of a P and L usually my P and L is fairly stable overall, obviously individual stocks, but with the moves that we're having, and we've been talking about this, it seems like there's a stock up 20% or down 20% every day. Doesn't it like it like multiple stocks today moving 20 plus percent. So, I mean, the moves are so extreme, extreme moves. I don't even know frankly where to begin. I mean, do you want to start with like yesterday, like Tesla or you want to go straight to the earnings here? Cause we can, maybe we should start with Tesla because it loses 170 points because mosque tweets out. I might sell some stuff. I mean, this is the volatile market on individual and overall the spine is not Volta, which is funny. Joel, you know, the overall market is really not that volatile, but there is individual stock volatility, something years. So yeah, Tesla loses a hundred foot from the high, when he tweeted on the weekend, it closed at 1222 Teslas and allies 200 points in two days because of an Elon Musk tweet that, uh, should I sell some of my Tesla stock? And obviously we think he's going to sell. So I guess that's why everybody is selling the stock to get ahead of his sale. But you know, is it good? Is it over, down at this point in time? I don't know. It's over, down to the buy side. It's over to them. The downside. That's what Tesla specializes in the stock is being over. So who knows what this stock, it is wild. I would use yesterday's low 10, 11 as a first bounce point. Takes that out then, you know, you probably think 50 bucks lower cause that's what Tesla does. So my bogey would be yesterday's low 10, 11. Can it hold? He had a Michael Berry tweet yesterday, too. I think that a Tesla, but he's been tweeting about that for a long time. And then you also, now it's so, you know, it's a big part of the S and P 500, getting bit was getting bigger every day. So, you know, you have it knocked the entire S and P down yesterday. Joel, like, if you want to know why you saw the market week yesterday, it was Tesla. I had a reporter calling me and they were trying to talk about PPI and all the other I'm like it's Tesla. The whole market is down because of Tesla. There was absolutely no doubt why the market is down. Tesla, Tesla, Tesla, Tesla, Tesla. It loses 170 points. It's a big part of the essence. It's going to bring down a lot of other stocks too. We'll look at that and run. I mean, you know, it had a run from nine feet. I mean, 900, that gap would go on earnings. So it was 900 to 1250 with the, you know, Marriott down day. And, uh, then you got to, you know, the quiet days up to the top and then you get the Musk tweet. It just took a data to resonate with investors. Pre-market low. Nice round number comes in at a thousand a we'll see what happens with, uh, you know, test of the close. At least it's just kind of been leaking since that, uh, that 4:00 AM open, but keep an eye on the clothes, really hard to find resistance. Now, if this starts to rip, uh, maybe if you do have a long, you're trying to scale out, you know, maybe, you know, throw something out there at 10 30, 10, 40, 10, 50, you know, and scale up the size. We talked about that yesterday in AMD. I know bill big D was looking at it like. You can't sell your stock if you don't have offers out there. Right? So let the market what you could sell it on the way down, but you can't have a feel for the market. If you can't, I'm going to teach you the exact opposite. Joel, though, when I'm going to, I'm going to take the opposite end of that spectrum with the way every market maker leans on your orders here. Now I actually, if you're, if you're trading an earning stock, I would say, yeah, if you're trading stock, I hate having my orders out there. I hate showing my hand because 100 shares on a mid cap stock affects the market. I'm not joking. You can have a market's 27 wide and you go and you throw out your order to sell it. A hundred shares, just 5 cents down from where the best offer is. And all of a sudden they hit the bid and it's offered there. And you're like, what happened? They got a real seller. Oh my gosh, it was a hundred Sarah's sale. It was a hundred share order selling in this. There's so much envelope, liquidity, high-frequency liquidity. It's 95% just fluff, basically that when they have a real order sitting out there, it moves the price as a hundred shares, move a stock of bank America. Absolutely not. But if you're trading something that trades under a million shares and you're showing your hand actively, you can chase the price away from you. So I don't like showing my hand whatsoever. I use a lot of discretionary orders. We're going to talk about this and R and R, but I think when you, if you're just sitting your orders out there, I, what we teach our traders now is sitting limits makes you a sitting duck because one they'll lean on your orders for protection. The off exchange market makers will lean on your orders for protection. And they'll pick you off when you're on the wrong side. So, you know, it sits there as a P is not moving. You got your bid out there, they're hitting, but you're not getting filled. You're not getting filled. All of a sudden the SPS are all over and you're filled and it's here. So I hate sitting my orders out there. I take liquidity and believe me, th

It pouring down and Martin, gab is kind of a big deal. So if you want, we can get to some of the staples, right? 3m G if you guys feel like it, if not, we can talk about other stuff, but, uh, Kenny Glick will be back today, which want to do a quick follow up with Kenny from last week. He was on the show on a Thursday, talking all about his trades and D whack and fun. Uh, just wanted to follow up for a minute here with Kenny. So Kenny will be on the show in about 13 minutes or so for a quick segment. Are you see your charts? How are we doing? How was your night? How was your morning? We're doing good. We're doing good. I, but up someone reminded me. I did not give the dad jokes of the day yesterday, slacking on that front. Uh, Monday's a good one. Dads love complaining that they are the only ones who ever turned the lights off in the house. I do that. Yup. Yup. And then dad's love saying she's a Butte when they see a car, they like, I also do that. Okay. Well you're not a dad yet. You know, um, we are integrating by 17 handles. We just caught a bid after hours. Haven't even seen that close in 45, 58 pre-market high 48, 75. If I told you there was resistance in this market, I'd be lying to you. And I don't want to do that to you guys, crudes down or excuse me, up 26 cents. Big sell off yesterday, but on the rebound goal, still over 1800 down to 30 at 18 0 4 30 silver in the red by 14, 15 cents at twenty four forty four Bitcoin. Let's just call that flat at 62,900 and Ethereum, that's just up a couple of bucks, 42, 32 75. Uh, so we got to bring in triple D here and it's our mission. To put a smile on that face today. Some days you come in and your overnight trades, you're on the right side of every single trade and everything is going well, and you can do no wrong today. For me. It's not one of those days. I will tell you that much I've come in and I'm like, I'm right on that. I'm right on that. I'm right on that. I'm like, this is going to be a battle today. When you start in the hole by, you know what, there's a lot of day left. We'll try to take a positive spin on it, even though my P and L is bleeding out. So we'll try and take a positive spin. We'll find some good trades, maybe turn around my buddy, Mike in Nashville. He's telling me that I'm going to be green by the end of the day. That very well may be the case, but we got a lot of work to do. Today's going to be a good day for your taxes. How about that? Yeah. You know what? I'm paying enough taxes anyways. Maybe I just got to take the rest of the. Maybe that's what we should do today is going to be a good day for some tax loss, harvesting creator. Yeah, I think so. I already harvested a couple of them. One was a Polaris long in the earnings. Ouch. Yeah. Got stuck with that one wrong side. That's okay. It happens to everyone. People. It doesn't happen a hundred percent winners. I am not one of those people. There's Twitter loses on Twitter. Anybody ever posted a losing trade on Twitter? No, I don't think so. Everybody wins all the time on Twitter. They don't talk about the losers though. We like talking about the losers we like to lean on or chat when we're having a bad day and say, you know what? I've been there, done that. And you've all, even if you don't post them on Twitter, so, you know, bad day trading it's okay. Shrug it off. You'll have a good day. Maybe. Okay. All right, let's go. Let's go mean, let's go to the story of the day, obviously, right? Facebook here. Uh, we talked about this one yesterday into the report and the sentiment really couldn't have been quite worse on the headline for Facebook. This morning is very simple, not as bad as Snapchat five words. That's the takeaway because the report was mostly positive. There were some things not to like about it, but not as bad as Snapchat. Um, the EPS was, was good. They beat, uh, there, this is interesting. Their revenue actually missed, uh, I knew it was the first time that their revenue, uh, came in, uh, uh, uh, down on sequential or year over year basis since, since like 2018, um, which they attributed to what else? Or who else? Apple. Um, so, but, but you know, the, the daily active users in line, uh, the guidance in line, a buyback 50 billion. Um, so again, it was mostly good. And especially when you compare to Snapchat, it was very good. Um, they talked to up what else? Their metaverse they're going to spin out, uh, some reporting on their metaverse operations. And they're going to start reporting that stuff separately and spin it out from the rest of the company. So we get a better idea of how much they're spending and investing on, on things like Oculus and all that sort of thing. Um, so talk, talk that up a lot. Um, but by and large, the report, wasn't bad kind of, uh, uh, take that statement from, from Facebook in light of all the negative headlines every day, kind of a, kind of a pushback here. What are you going to with triple day on this. Well, the level of the level is the lows. And then we got down there again, they hit it right on the initial number. And where do they hit it to right. To those lows of the move, the whole three 17 to three 20 area. Yeah, we touched three 15, but there is huge. Joel would say super-duper support down there. You have to respect that the algos don't respect it obviously. Cause they're the ones that slammed it on the headline, the news algo, and they immediately start losing money. Don't think to yourself that every algo out there is smart. There's a lot of dumb algos out there. And that was a dumb one because they had a right down to support on. You got to understand expectations algos. You got to understand that snap and Spencer clearly stated when he was starting, the segment that they set the bar very, very low for facing. So come out like, oh no, Facebook best one of the power was lower. So you'd got to consider that when you're writing those news algos that just hit when they see the revenue, miss throw those expectations in there, but they don't do it and they just hit it down and you know what? They get punished for it. So ever sound three 15. Congratulations. You just threw away 20 points. Uh, I, we covered this on the show, uh, and then you add the clothes show and I do. I'm looking at this chart and there's some big players out there and I'm not one of them, triple D is not one of them, but they're just trading this range, man. And any time to St gets near three 20 or under three 20, they're just scooping it up. And then whenever it gets near three 40, they're dumping it. And now you're stuck right in the middle. So I, I like to see the way it resolves itself out. Eventually it's going to get it. And eventually we're going to break three 20. We're going to stay under three 20 and we're going to test 300 or they're just going to struggle. This offer going to hold three 40. They're going to get half back of this move. So I just think there's, you gotta respect ranges when their ranges, and this is a big volume stock. It's a big part of the S and P and until further notice, I'm just going to let it chop in this range and get a clean break one way. I mean, it's big money. I'm talking. Big money is doing this. They're there. Scooped it up and they're selling it. Maybe even going short, like you do triple D like I know you can go long and oh, I'm sorry. Okay. Yeah. Anyways, that's my, that's my look. You're going to ban shorting again, just like they did back during the financial crisis. Okay. That's it. So three 30, nothing muffin there. Just use those parameters. If you trade in Facebook, I'm curious how it's Twitter is reacting here to this. Well, it has had some headlines of its own too though, last night. So it actually didn't respond too much and then started lifting. Actually, maybe it wasn't a headline, you know what it was, it was a fast money, uh, pumped it there, big option buyers. Yeah. You know, and then when they see those big option buyers, those fast money guys, you know, everybody follows that. So it started lifting and it actually rallied a block because they said we saw call buying in Twitter. Again, I put zero relevance into that, but you've got to respect it because it does move the price.

Uh, we're going to talk a Baba today. We're going to talk Tesla. We're gonna talk a jobs number. We're going to hopefully be joined by Marcus. Hi Cotter. Yes, the man, the myth, the legend back at 8 35. Would you take your time at the end of the show? We will share some, uh, boots on the ground research as well that Mitch did on his own Accordi yesterday. And we'll take questions from our chat and, uh, yeah, that w w I guess we should probably start by talking about yesterday though. W uh, w Joel, bring up your charts if you can. And let's start with, um, yesterday's action, because the question I'm asking. To the both of you or Dennis, whenever he joins is a breakout or fake agile. What? Well, right now the numbers are saying a breakout. Uh, we'll just run things down. We'll talk about yesterday's action. When Dennis comes on here. Oh, he is okay. Uh, well, there's talk about today's action then we're up three and three quarters handles ahead of the big jobs number. Pre-market high, all three and a quarter, nothing there pre-market low 82 and a quarter, nothing there. So mark, it has to find my levels and a wild, the upside yesterday, 43, 21. That's a high that looks like a good early target on the upside. Our crude bouncing back up 52 cents. It's 78 81. Gold just battling it's way up to 1800 up for a box of 17 63, 10 silver in the red by 9 cents at 2257 Bitcoin. Having a good day having a great week. Ah, that's up 1385 at 55, 8 55. And the theory that's up $20 and 25 cents at 36 46 50. First question I have though for triple D and match is without the technical, a computer wizards that run this show. How did it go yesterday? How did it go? How did it go? I have nothing to do with any tactical stuff behind the background. I've never ran a YouTube. Yeah, it was tough. It was tough, Joe. I gotta say, I miss your ability to handle the charts. I was there, like trying to handle everything, but Hey, we got it down. Right? Dennis, actually, somebody tweeted us. It was the best show ever. You know why that was me? Oh, was you, you know what it was? We actually got through like 20 topics, Dennis. I don't know bitches on mute again. They can't match. What's wrong with you? Like you're using the technical group. I don't know what's going on. My mic. Doesn't want to get picked up by my desktop audio. The same thing that happened yesterday, but now they can hear me. I sign it. You say you can't hear you calling you muted match. He's a mime. Now you just, you gotta read his lips. Hello is the way I had it on my computer. They still don't hear you. Well, there's always, there's always a delay. There's always a delay. How much of a delay? It was about seven seconds. You're going to get kicked off the show. If you don't get this mic figured out he was right on deck to replace Spencer, but now he's falling apart. Spencer, we love you. I had it. I might, I came downstairs. I was able to do some work a little bit later in the day and I had it on like, go, oh, I just want to see how things, uh, you know, how, you know, how things got started in the chat ripping you guys a new one. I was just like, okay, maybe the, I hope they get the show, but I just giving you a hard time triple D and match. I'm sure it was a great show. It's me. Don't give me a hard time. All I do is speak on standard scars is where we're at. Then you can give me a hard time, but I don't know. And it's helping, it's not working. It's not working. It's not working. Nice move yesterday. It's working. It's okay. We forgive you match. We forgive you match. We got to figure out why you keep going on mute though. You didn't match three inside days in a row. Right. And the market was just, it was just bottled up. They really tried to bust it on, uh, on Wednesday. Like they, and you call the triple daycare bus, like get this thing under 4,300 kids that I get to sing under 40 to 70. And then I would look in the thing would be trading like 42, 96, 97. And literally I would turn my head and it would be like 40, 43 0 3. And I'm like, what? And it was just like big buyers came in. Then once they got it over the high, but we broke out to old resistance, new support. We're 30 handles away from that. We got a jobs number. Let's take out 44, 21. That'd be a pretty good week and, you know, close on the highest the week, the only wildcard is how we react to, I mean, this market is still and you know what? I still agree with Spencer. I still think you're making the high by the end of the year. And I think it kind of proved itself two days ago that in the end, this market just, you know, wants to go higher. So, you know, are we out of the woods? You know, are we going to retest those loaves? Are we going to fill that gap? I tend to think we're going to fill that gap, Joel, the gap from two days ago, because there's not much in there and you might not see it on the S and P futures, but you definitely see it on spy, which I'm talking about the gap from 4 35 11 up to 4 30, 8, 20, there's a three point almost 30 handle gap in there from the regular trading session, which spy obviously is involved in. Um, so I think we're going to fill that. I think I would be a buyer down cold resistance of 4 35. So we get down 30, 40 handles from here. I'll be buying more stocks. So, you know, ideally, you know, you'd been buying, you know, at the dip for 27, for 28, but I was buying different selling reps on the stocks. I did buy, probably sold them too soon because I did not expect the big breakout the two day follow through move. It was 120 point run from the low. So, you know, do we fill the gap? I think we do. I think you're a buyer though, if we do right. I want to ask you all about the close yesterday. Cause we close pretty weak Mitch and I were watching and over bought, you know, we went from oversold over bought. And literally if you look at, you know, where, how, where this market went, we went from 4 28 spot. At about one o'clock in the afternoon, two days ago to at the open, we just run the four forty one, a hundred and thirty points equivalent that is on the S and P futures in literally three hours and overnight session, a pre-market session and an hour of, of a morning trading crazy. And, and Paul and Paul saying I've changed my tune of the market. In two days, I haven't changed my tune. I've been saying buy dips and sell rips. I've been just on the fence, fading every move and continuing to fade, move saying, if we fall 30 handles here, I'll be a buyer. If we ride 30 handles here, I'll probably be a seller. I'm doing the same thing, Paul, that I do every single day. And that is buy deps and sell reps. Intra-day overnight, wherever it is. I tweeted out almost every single day. I think everybody knows what I'm doing. Um, it's just been working. The fade trade has been working. There's not a lot of false. So I don't think I was bullish or bearish. Was I Polish? Oh no. You know what you, uh, the way you taught me out of, uh, you know, I mean, I was re I like, if we took out those loans, right? If, if, if right, if your uncle bill, I can't say that on TV. Um, but I would, the thing is, isn't the way you turned me a little bit. It's like, where people, where are you going to put your money? Where are you gonna put if you take out of the market and where are you going to put it, Bitcoin. Okay. You can put it in Bitcoin, you put it in a gold, you know, she bought no, I mean, we, I mean, and that is no place to go and that, and that's a sad excuse. But it's the truth and, and, you know, the inflation is incredible. You know, I know it just from this house build, which is stressing me out. I've talked about it on the show multiple times. I mean, material on this house is just unbelievably, went up in price. Like, I mean, everything that we budgeted is coming in 30, 40% higher on the material, just on the material. That's your, you know, that's from, you know, budgeted in the fall to where we are, I guess one year, a year over a year. So you're seeing 30, 40% rises. In some cases, like I said, in the electrical wire 300% rises in the price of stuff. I mean, you can say, there's know no inflation on TVs like Kathy would, you know, obviously in technology, maybe there's a little bit of deflation there, but in every other aspect of her life, it's very, a lot of inflation and it isn't running at three, 4%. Some things are running a three, 4%, 5%, but the things that use the most gas food. Housing, that stuff is running way hotter way hotter than 5%.
