    Gorge Orwells 1984

    Nineteen Eighty-Four (also 1984), by George Orwell, published in 1949, is a dystopian novel about the totalitarian régime of the Party, an oligarchical collectivist society where life in the Oceanian province of Airstrip One is a world of perpetual war, pervasive government surveillance, public mind control, and the voiding of citizens' rights. In the Ministry of Truth (Minitrue), protagonist Winston Smith is a civil servant responsible for perpetuating the Party's propaganda by revising historical records to render the Party omniscient and always correct, yet his meagre existence disillusions him into rebellion against Big Brother, which leads to his arrest, torture, and conversion.As literary science fiction, 1984 is a classic novel of the social science fiction sub-genre, thus, since its publication in 1949, the terms and concepts of Big Brother, doublethink, thoughtcrime, Newspeak, et cetera, became contemporary vernacular, including the adjective Orwellian, denoting George Orwell's writings and totalitarianism as exposited in Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm (1945)

    The Philosphy of Liberty

    The Philosophy of Liberty (PoL) is a flash animation based of what is now the epilogue of Ken Schoolland's book, "The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible." It began in 1992 as a Russian translation of the book was being published. The publisher Dmitry Costygin informed Ken that few people in Russia even knew what 'property' or 'taxes' were, and Ken responded by writing an introduction that described the philosophy of his book. It became so popular that it now appears as the epilogue in every language edition (40+ and counting), and it inspired Kerry Pearson (aka Lux Lucre) to create a flash animation. By 2005, the animation had reached thousands online, including myself. With the advent of online video sharing sites, it seemed a video version would be an ideal way to reach people that might not otherwise find the flash version online. Sofar, tens of thousands have viewed the video version and now to make the PoL even more accessible, all 14 languages have been converted to various video formats. If you like The PoL, please share it with others. Make a DVD and play it for friends and family, submit it to video streaming sites, or share it any other way you can think of!

    Rabbi Chaim Richman answers President Obama's Cairo speech

    The Land of Israel is the Promised Land given to our forefathers Abraham Isaac and Jacob and is given to us, their seed, as an everlasting Inheritance. The first commentary by the Biblical commentator Rashi in Genesis tells us that when the nations of the world will tell us, Listim Atem, (you are occupiers), our answer is that the entire universe was created by the G-d, the Creator of the World, who decides who are the rightful inheritors and occupiers of the Land. The Bible clearly tells us that the Land of Israel all of it belongs to the Jewish People. Period. Rabbi Richman (as well as many other Rabbis) points out the holes in President Obama's speech given in Cairo in June, 2009. He also warns that anyone who tries to harm Israel risks Divine retribution. Although not in this video, another Rabbi, Rabbi Shlomo Dov Wolpe (sos-israel.com), reminds us what happened the last time America pressured Israel to destroy Jewish homes in Gush Katif, making over 8000 Jews homeless. ONE DAY after the last Jew was dragged out of Gush Katif, Hurricane Katrina began, making many more Americans homeless. And now, President Obama wants Israel to make another part of the Jewish state Judenrein???!!! He does not recognize the legitimacy of Jewish settlement in Israel???!!!
