Many of us start to remise on the “Old Times”, missed opportunities, or we have locked our talent / and or identity in a place ( job, family, or popular opinion) that no longer exist wondering why we can’t move on and get “All The Things”, or saying we lean on phrases like “I should be here, or “ Why Isn’t It My Time”? Most of the time when I've thought about missed opportunities, lost friendships , failed business endeavors. It's been because I didn't listen to myself about what I wanted to do with my life. And when I did make decisions that didn't pan out the way I wanted, the same people wanted to give me advice, while not helping , supporting, or even putting any money on the table for the project .. like sis … really !! In this podcast we discuss Staying in the past hurts you and what you’re building Why building a personal brand matter How using content to stay relevant ( You can join a conversation by using your expertise and not gossip to be seen as a leader) Why telling your story differently gives more to the story ( context and perspective matters) Don’t let your cave be your dead place, see your vision and come on out BTW I discussed how seeing Bishop TD Jakes new sermon on Sunday morning also inspired me as well. Whether someone helped you, or you built it on your own . We know how it would feel in either direction. During my weekend of reflection, creating, and designing. I watched the movie " The Butterfly Effect " and I thought of this question. If you were the person you wanted to be, knowing everything that happens to you .. Would you go back and do your life over, knowing you couldn't change anything would you do it for yourself? Or would you do it for someone else ?
