Muslim Entrepreneurs: Jahin Tanvir and Breathe & ASE

🎙️ Jahin Tanvir shares his entrepreneurial journey: how he became a CEO at the age of 22, how he overcame his fear of public speaking to become a public speaking expert, how he founded Breathe in 2022 and had it acquired by The ASE Group only 6 months later, and what keeps him focused, sane and driven. 💪 💭 While only being 22 years old, his story is about daring to define himself on his own terms and pursue what makes him feel 'fulfilled'. This is a motivating and fun episode for any aspiring young entrepreneur. 🏆 From that moment of realisation during the first year of his optometry degree, Jahin has now become a public speaking expert, the CEO of the Australian School of Entrepreneurship, the 2022 finalist for the Young Australian of the Year award, a guest lecturer at the University of Melbourne on youth mental health, and a regular media commentator on platforms such as ABC News, The Drum, Channel 10, and Channel 9. 🤝 Jahin has also worked with the United Nations, Oaktree, The Australian National University, Australian Red Cross, the University of Sydney, the World Health Organization, the Commonwealth Department of Health, and as a freelance journalist. 🚀 The 'Muslim Entrepreneurs' series uncovers and explores the entrepreneurial journeys of founders and visionaries in the Muslim community. Muslim Entrepreneurs: Yasemin Deniz and Mikash Skincare

Yasemin Deniz shares her entrepreneurial journey: how she founded Mikash Skincare, a successful Melbourne-based skincare business, against all odds. Growing up in the Fitzroy flats, Yasemin dropped out of school at the age of 14 to work and eventually find her passion in the beauty industry. Years on, after a failed marriage and the loss of her baby son, she married once more and became a stay-at-home mum. Her husband's work injury was the nudge that reignited her teenage dream to found her own beauty business.  So Mikash Skincare was born. After testing and trialling for years, she created her own hand-made skincare line using only certified organic ingredients that are locally sourced. Yasemin's hustler mindset, her attitude of gratitude and her faith allowed her to thrive, even when times were tough.  This is a fun, touching and inspiring episode for any aspiring entrepreneur. Yasemin has plenty of words of encouragement for those who are on their own business journeys! The 'Muslim Entrepreneurs' series uncovers and explores the entrepreneurial journeys of founders and visionaries in the Muslim community. What drove them to start their venture? What have they learnt on the way? How does being Muslim impact their business? What is the secret to their success?
