Rodney shares how his life started in Maui, led to getting signed in Los Angeles during the early grunge era, and quickly turned into years of addiction. What began as partying in the music scene turned into meth, crack, heroin, and alcohol, eventually leading him to prison after years of trying and failing to get sober. While incarcerated, everything shifted. Rodney talks about the moment he walked into a prison chapel, broke down, and had a real encounter with God that changed the direction of his life. From there, he committed to recovery, started putting in the work, and never looked back. Today he runs a ministry on the streets, helps others find a way out, builds businesses, and creates music with purpose. This episode is about surrender, second chances, and what can happen when someone actually follows through.
