SHS - Humans First

Susan

Welcome to SHS - Humans First, where we bring the power back to the people. Join us for a community dedicated to growth, introspection, and authenticity. Leave behind the expectations and labels that hold us back as we dive into life's most pondered questions. How’s life through your eyes, I can only experience mine?” We’ve grown to believe only the “achieved and accomplished” have great stories to tell. They’re the only ones with content, who have gone through life battles and conquered the Himalayans. Most times we even put people on pedestals, as we forget we’re inevitably also leaving ourselves off the plate and that can grow to eat off our self-esteems, comparing ourselves to the 1%. Reality is, we all go through pains and pleasure, and we all try running away from the pains towards the pleasures, the only difference is the ways in which we do so. We don’t need fame to have a story worth telling, we just need someone willing to share and someone willing to listen. Yet, too often I’ve heard: “My life’s boring, I don’t have much to say” or “Who would want to hear my story?”, reason why it’s so imperative for us to create a space where we can all proudly share our hurdles and achievements, no matter how small they’re just as relevant, recognise our losses, wins and all the similarities that make us all Human First!

What's on the other side of the coin?

Welcome to the inaugural episode of SHS - Humans First! Join our community of curious, free-spirited, purpose-driven individuals as we embrace the small things in life and navigate the chaos that accompanies our journey. In this episode, we explore the idea of looking beyond the surface and discovering what lies on the other side of the coin. Life is a collection of experiences, and here, we'll create an environment of compassion by sharing stories that highlight our shared human experiences, regardless of our unique circumstances. At SHS - Humans First, we believe that knowledge is not measured by the amount we know but by our ability to empathize with others. Through these conversations, we'll deepen our understanding of ourselves and others, celebrating both the pains and pleasures that shape our lives. ÉPISODE 6

    My story pt.1

As we start our new campaign and journey in SHS - Humans First, I thought It'd be appropriate for me to also share parts of my story, when I'm going to be asking individuals to share theirs. This allowed me to reconcile with segments of my life I hadn't thought of in years and got me thrilled by the amount of things I've been given the chance to experience on this planet. As everyone we all have ups and downs, and it is our perception which dictates the story of our life.Content:How was your childhood, the dynamics in the family and friendships at that time? How did you feel about being a child looking back? How was growing up through teenagehood to adulthood?I’m curious, What came easy to you and what did you struggle with? How would you define this current time in your life and your feelings about it?So which life events, disguised as curses, have you experienced to get here?I guess linked to that last question, What had you saying or thinking: “I’m so glad I tried!” Regardless of the outcome? And why?Which excuses have you hid behind in your life that you could free yourself of?What would your future-self be proud of?Connect with us on other platforms:Blog: Explore more insightful content on our blog, Self Heed to Succeed, at https://shshumanfirst.com/Instagram:Connect with our host, Susan Ndinga, on her brand's Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/the_nomad_podcaster/BooksCurrently Writing:"Thelaio Fumankinde" - Hidden in plain sight as always"The Diary of a Former People Pleaser" - Exploring love through questionable service"The Unconditionality of Happiness and Success" - What I wish I had been taught in school"One Year in Return of Eternal Freedom" - An unexpected turn of events (title to be revealed)"A Collection of Incomplete Wisdom" - Embracing the beginning of all wisdom: taking the first stepStay tuned for the release of our upcoming books and episodes
