Dear editors,
I love this podcast and listen to it from France. You've kind of become my new imaginary best friends.
In the 90s, the real cool thing was to have access to magazines imported from the United States—fashion magazines, of course, but especially music magazines. Your podcast takes me right back to my teenage years: I had binders filled with magazine covers that I kept preciously, perfume ads, and interviews with stars, since I wasn't allowed to turn my room into a poster wall.
I'd like to go back to the penultimate episode on the relationship between John Kennedy Jr. and Madonna. Rumors about this relationship date back to 1997, a year before the release of the album Ray of Light. Madonna was then in a very different period from the Blonde Ambition Tour era mentioned in the episode.
At that point, she was already undergoing a profound transformation: a more spiritual shift, marked in particular by motherhood, yoga, and—let's not forget—Kabbalah. From this perspective, I wonder if Madonna might not have been looking for a relationship that would further legitimize this new phase in the eyes of the mainstream public.
What is your take on this?
Merci et gros bisous
