I listened to an episode on The Scole Experiment, which was frankly abysmal. Not due to the Scole Experiment itself, but the presenters and the content of their ‘show.’ I use that word purposely as it lacks any real integrity or substance.
Instead of it being an informative & enjoyable listen, conversely it just comes across a crass exchange of thoughts between two individuals who lack any sense of decorum. I am not sure if there is a deep rooted insecurity in the background, as the constant use of expletives is unnecessary. Precisely what audience are they trying to reach out to ‘acting’ tough with their language. It is hardly a podcast about Mixed Martial Arts, which, understandably, can indeed have colourful moments of language and stories.
The very things they criticise a documentary which contains parts about the Scole Experiment, are ironically, the very things they fall foul of themselves - not remaining constant in their approach. The documentary which contains elements about the Scole Experiment, was a documentary about the Afterlife, NOT the Scole Experiment. Criticising other things covered in the documentary not related to the Scole Experiment, does not lend any credence to a point of view held by the presenters about the validity of the Scole Experiment itself. They are two separate things entirely.
In any case I won’t be downloading any further podcasts of their show, and regret heavily wasting my time with this one. I just hope this review reaches out to others to save them from the same mental & emotional anguish I had to endure.
