Steve Coppell - 1871 podcast series 2 rewind

Steve Coppell - 1871 podcast series 2 rewind

It's all a bit doom and gloom for Reading at the moment, isn't it? No manager announcement (despite our best efforts to officially announce Chris Wilder as Reading's new manager!), a potential points deduction (again), the club seems to be in a mess and the fans are in the dark. SO... If any Reading fan needs some cheering up, this might do it - here's a rewind to our series 2 episode with the legend that is former Reading manager Steve Coppell.

Chris Wilder still not confirmed as Reading's new manager

We admit it. We thought Chris Wilder was going to be announced as the new Reading manager. So much so that we prepared an 'official announcement' episode. Here's the episode we prepared for what we thought was the imminent announcement. We can hereby confirm that Chris Wilder has NOT yet been confirmed as Reading manager, despite what you are about to listen to. But he might be by the time you are listening to this!

Top quality guests

Always impressed by how many top guest interviews they manage to get, from former players, managers and staff alike. Gives you some great insights that you otherwise would not get to hear about. Like the other Reading FC podcasts always appreciate the passion these guys have for the club through their podcast. Keep up the great work.

Good Show, Quality Guests. Rubbish Audio/Editing

Good shows chaps, some quality and insightful interviews.

Please sort your and editing out, the Ray Houghton interview was painful to listen to simply down to the line cutting off rather than the interview. This should be cut out to give a smoother end product.

Well done otherwise and keep up the good work.
