This is FREE? What a fantastically generous thing to do, thankyou very much JB. As for Bellowhead's Cropredy gig last week - it was exhileratingly, astonishingly - no, dangerously - good, completely trumped everything else on the bill, no disrespect to some excellent people. Hair-raising levels of energy, creativity, theatricality and sheer musical brilliance. Any readers of this who haven't already seen B'h - commit any necessary minor felony to get tickets to see them. Or possibly even a major felony, then in future you could land up in one of their songs about lechery, p**sartistry and villany. That's the folk process for you. Though "folk" is a pallid label for the full-blooded assaults of Boden, Speirs and their equally certifiable accomplices.
