Podcast junk food
And I love it!
What happened to ATP?
I don’t know what happened to ATP but the episode lengths have increased whilst the ‘tech’ content has reduced, unless you mean cameras, phone cases, audio, furniture and other vagugely tech-related things.
Modern ATP comprises repetitive dialogue on recurring themes like Siri, Radar and X/Twitter, where the same tired points are made ad nausium, with little new added.
The first 10 mins of each episode feels feels like filler that can be skipped. In the of new Apple tech news, the three hosts will just talk about anything that comes to mind or repeat what they said last week. If there is no tech “news”, then consider don’t having a tech news podcast - don’t waste your time and mine.
I have listened since episode 1 and used to look forward to ATP. The podcast just now feels like three old blokes complaining about everything that annoys them, like Grandpa Simpson shaking his fist at clouds.
Tech? Mostly Apple.
Bit rude how heavy you go on how much we should donate, just saying.
Edit: and now I’m listening to you guys go on about something that has nothing to do with tech and telling me murdering children is bad. Not a tech podcast, I have no clue what this is. Boomer rants?
