Ageing With Grace Grace Fodor & Katie Isles

Ageing with Grace (mostly disgracefully) is the show for women in midlife who are unapologetically neither over the hill nor invisible. "Nobody puts baby in the corner!”
In each episode, Katie and I have honest and inspirational conversations that challenge the status quo and reframe outdated stereotypes. We are celebrating age, loudly and proudly, with real topics, fresh perspectives, and total transparency - no subject is taboo!

#05 Midlife Modelling
Catch up with Katie and I as we discuss the HUGE impact midlife modeling has on the fashion industry
“Why is it including an older woman, particularly such a thing that you've got to make it newsworthy? Why do we have to make a song and dance about it? If you are a great company, a great brand with great marketing, you should just be doing this anyway?”

#04 Friends and Friendship
Katie and I discussed the importance of friends and friendship!
How they have been the bedrock of our lives. A huge source of confidence, reassurance, joy, and candour.
But what happens when you outgrow them or they become toxic?
“Friends are the family that we choose. True friends are there in the good times but they are really there in the bad times.”

Episode on Resilience
Absolutely brilliant encouraging and moving with practical advice. Just what I needed today!! Thank you both x
Reframing attitudes toward ageing
I recently listened to Episode 3 of this series and it couldn’t have come at a better time. At nearly 44 I’m certainly not ‘old’, ‘over the hill’ or ‘past it’ but sometimes it’s hard not to feel invisible! Definitely at the ‘sacrifice’ stage of life where it’s mainly about my kids, but starting to rediscover myself and define what I do and don’t like doing, who I do and don’t feel belonging with! This episode totally resonated.
Interesting and entertaining
I discovered this podcast today and have listened to the first two episodes this morning. Not only is is it entertaining but it interesting and informative. As a 62 year old I have definitely found my own style and am totally disinterested in what other people think of me!
