Susannah thought it provided a good occasion for a discussion of conspiracy theories and 'autodidact brain' and invited Derek Rishmawy to have a conversation with us.

Supersillymanable ,

Thought provoking

I’ve been listening to (and reading) Alastair for a while now and realized I really should leave a review.

Whether interviewing fascinating people, offering insightful comments on the text of Scripture, walking slowly through profound works such as O’Donovan’s The Ways of Judgment, or critically analyzing some of the trends we are currently swimming in, I find Alastair consistently thought provoking, measured and wise (even where I find myself in disagreement).

I have found myself spurred to develop better and more consistent reading of scripture, healthier and sounder mental habits, spiritual disciplines, and generally to explore intellectually and spiritually, while digging deeper into the Scriptures and the Great Tradition through Alastair’s work. I really recommend this podcast (and his other work) very highly.

My only complaint is that the uploads are not frequent enough!

My new addiction.

Found Alastair via the bible project which lead me back to taking scripture seriously as a literary unity and then via Paul vanderclay and Jonathan Pageau. Alastairs insights into the themes and repeating symbols throughout both old and new covenants is really breathtaking and personally very exciting. It is my new addiction. Having a daily dose of scripture and commentary is fantastic. A real service to the body of Christ

Ewen Ebsworth ,

Theologically inspiring

A thoroughly engrossing and mind opening theological and exegetical commentary on Scripture.
