Der Physiker und Philosoph Armin Grunwald leitet die größte Einrichtung für Technologiefolgenabschätzung weltweit. Technologiefolgenabschätzung ist ein Teilgebiet der Technikphilosophie. Chancen und Risiken neuer Technologien werden in Bezug auf die Entwicklung der Gesellschaft analysiert. Armin Grunwald leitet zudem das Bundestagsbüro für Technologiefolgenabschätzung. Die Politik soll damit möglichst früh mit den Potentialen und Gefahren neuer technischer Entwicklungen vertraut gemacht werden. In diesem Gespräch wird der Frage nachgegangen, ob die neuen Technologien die demokratischen Systeme bedrohen und welche Herausforderungen die neuen Technologien für die "Minima Moralia" (Theodor W. In Teheran 1936 geboren kam er mit 14 Jahren nach Deutschland. Der Germanist, Philosoph und Iranist übersetzte persische Literatur ins Deutsche und begleitete analytisch und engagiert die politische Entwicklung in Iran seit den 60er Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts. The Berlin-based journalist is the author of numerous books on Iran. Born in Tehran in 1936, he came to Germany at the age of 14. The Philosopher and Iranist translated Persian literature into German and has been an analytical and committed observer of political developments in Iran since the 1960s.     🎓 Christoph Burgmer im Gespräch mit Thomas Milo. Thomas Milo ist ein niederländischer Autor und digitaler Kalligraph und Typograf. Milo ist Träger des Unicode Bulldog Award. Zu seinen Aktivitäten gehörte unter anderem die Digitalisierung der arabischen Schrift. Thomas Milo studierte in Amsterdam und Leiden Slawisch, Türkisch, Modernes Standardarabisch sowie Ägyptisches, Libanesisches und Marokkanisches Arabisch. Zusammen mit Bernard Greenberg ist Thomas Milo Autor des arabischen Editors von Basis Technology, der die Transkriptionsmethode der Deutschen Orient-Gesellschaft (DMG) verarbeitet. Thomas Milo arbeitete mit dem omanischen Ministerium für Stiftungen und religiöse Angelegenheiten zusammen und unterstützte es dabei, stimmberechtigtes Mitglied des Unicode-Konsortiums zu werden. Im Jahr 2017 stellte das Sultanat Oman den Mushaf Muscat vor, einen durchsuchbaren, interaktiven Koran in Kalligraphie, der als weltweit erster seiner Art gilt. /🎓 Christoph Burgmer in conversation with Thomas Milo. Auf dem Weg in eine andere Moderne" 1986 einer ganzen Generation nicht nur in Deutschland (Das Buch ist in 35 Sprachen übersetzt) überdeutlich vor Augen, dass die Zerstörung von Umwelt und Natur, wie sie der Club of Rome schon schon 1972 mit seinem Bericht zu den "Grenzen des Wachstums" formuliert hatte, weder vor Staatsgrenzen, noch vor Klassengrenzen halt macht. Die Menschheit steht in der globalisierten, kapitalistischen Plünderungsgesellschaft vor der Selbstvernichtung. Sollte es ein Überleben geben, werden nationalistische und national-sozialistische Politiker wir Donald Trump, Putin, Modi oder Xiu Jinping in dieser Zukunft rückblickend als Terroristen in die Geschichte eingehen. Ulrich Beck lehrte in München, London und Paris. Er verfasste 2012 zusammen mit Daniel Cohn-Bendit das Manifest "Wir sind Europa".
