The Serious Business of Drinking Wine

The Serious Business of Drinking Wine

Now this is what the countryside is all about… Wine tasting! Yes, I’m totally serious about growing grapes. Join me for some in-depth boozy research into local vineyard offerings. I’ll be scheming schemes, tapping my city contacts and building the foundations of my WINE EMPIRE, while my husband has a heart-to-heart with his work buddy.

#HASHTAGFARMLIFE is our Patreon exclusive after-show series. This week we drink wine and discuss the joys of country living with our friend and colleague Matthew Woodcock. Also we read YOUR comments (if you commented)! https://www.patreon.com/definitelyhuman

Farming: How Hard Could it Be?

Farming: How Hard Could it Be?

OK so I’m basically a farmer now! There are just a couple of things I need to know before I get stuck in. Like, what do farmers actually do? Join me on my first walk to my new job, along the North Devon Tarka Trail! I’ll be staggering my way up the infamous 'beetroot hill', checking out my new studio (an old shed) and cosying up in front of the fireplace for a cute chat with mum about the decline of traditional farming, bureaucratic mismanagement and Government subsidies.

    A Podcast About Roots

    A Podcast About Roots

Goodbye London! You’ve been my home for 10 glorious years, but now it’s time to pack up all my worldly possessions and move to the greener pastures of North Devon. I’m going to be a farmer! Join me as I begin my new life of welly boots and flat caps (I’m not wearing flat caps) upon the rolling hills of the West Country. I’ll be flexing my limited agricultural knowledge, getting nostalgic about my misspent youth and treating my husband to a tour of the farm.

#HASHTAGFARMLIFE is our Patreon exclusive after-show series. This week we drink wine and discuss my reasons for wanting to make a podcast. Also why (and how?!) did I escape the big city lifestyle? https://www.patreon.com/definitelyhuman
