Or do you find you rationalize and overcompensate for someone’s behaviour or actions? We realize that sometimes the root of our disappointment comes when we set up high expectations and standards for others. How others decide to act and behave is out of our control and sometimes the best way to protect our peace is to simply observe and accept that that is how they choose to show up. Instead of focusing on those (people or things) that we can’t control, we must redirect our focus to ourselves and perhaps look at it as an opportunity to develop a deeper relationship with yourself.
