Ben Hodgson - The Fruit of the Spirit

Beginning with the origin of Father's Day, Ben shares a message all about the heart behind Father's Day and why the father's heart is so significant. In Mark 5, we read about a father, Jairus, who comes to Jesus in need of a healing for his 12 year old daughter. On the way, an unnamed woman touches Jesus' clothes and is immediately healed of a condition that she has suffered for 12 years. Jesus also gives her a new identity when he calls her, "daughter". As Jairus watches on, he receives the news that his daughter is now dead. Could it be that the healing of this other daughter, gives Jairus the required faith to not only believe for his own daughter's healing, but now her resurrection!? Like Jairus and the newly named daughter, we need to come to Jesus, surrender to him and stick with him.
